Does he refer to himself as a journalist?CaptQuint wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 4:40 pm https://www.thewrap.com/who-exactly-vid ... efe-25369/
"What he does isn't journalism," said Marty Kaplan, director of the Norman Lear Center at USC's Annenberg School for Communication. "It's agitpop, politi-punking, entrapment-entertainment. There is no responsible definition of journalism that includes what he does or how he does it. His success at luring his prey into harming themselves is a measure of how fallible and foolish anyone, including good people, can sometimes be."
If your journalistic technique is the lie, why should we believe anything you have to say?

Many people also argue Wikipedia (woops, Wikileaks) and Assange aren't journalists.necronomous wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 6:12 pmDoes he refer to himself as a journalist?CaptQuint wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 4:40 pm https://www.thewrap.com/who-exactly-vid ... efe-25369/

C'mon folks. The only real and acceptable journalism is the kind that agrees with and confirms your already established perception. Life is much easier that way.

O'Keefe admitted his journalism is shit in court.
On March 5, 2013, O'Keefe agreed to pay $100,000 to former California ACORN employee Juan Carlos Vera for deliberately misrepresenting Mr. Vera's actions, and acknowledged in the settlement that at the time he published his video he was unaware that Vera had notified the police about the incident. The settlement contained the following apology: "O'Keefe regrets any pain suffered by Mr. Vera or his family."
https://www.latimes.com/local/la-xpm-20 ... story.html
O'Keefe refers to himself as a "guerrilla journalist"
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fed ... rc404=true
In July 2011, Dean Mills, the dean of the Missouri School of Journalism, compared O'Keefe to Michael Moore and said, "Some ethicists say it is never right for a journalist to deceive for any reason, but there are wrongs in the world that will never be exposed without some kind of subterfuge."
https://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/31/maga ... wanted=all
The Atlantic journalist Conor Friedersdorf responded that O'Keefe's "mortal sin" wasn't that he misled his subjects, but that he misled his audience by presenting his videos to the public in "less than honest ways that go far beyond normal 'selectivity.'"

Hey I'm still waiting for that link that quotes Hillary saying Bernie is a Russian asset. I'm sure you don't want SFW UJ to think you're a straight up fucking liar right?beagleboy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:52 pmHe only became a Democrat 4 years ago and is still to this day a member of another party. As Hillary said, he's a Russian asset who tried to undermine her candidacy after she won the nomination to make sure Trump would win. Many big names just last week within the party said he's trying to do the same thing he did 4 years ago. Hell, Tulsi the Russian asset supports the guy.
Only a Republican would pretend to support Bernie at this point.

Sure, communism is bad, but there's no chance of it taking hold here. To me it's a simple go-to attack by righties for any social program that they disagree with. It's on par with claiming that someone is supporting our enemies if anyone objects to any military action.VinceBordenIII wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 2:57 pmTry to have a conversation. Re: The typical Sanders supporter.....
Not even close. Some communist countries become communist because of overly corrupt governments with dramatic disparity in wealth and the rest after a dramatic revolution of forceful change. Name a single country that slid from a significantly socialistic economy to Communism.
There are currently 5 communist countries in the world remaining and all went through civil wars to get there.

Can someone please explain to the children the difference between democratic socialist countries and socialist/communist countries.
a lot of those Democratic socialist countries actually work for the people not just the elites and the corporations.

I hate when the government bleeds private enterprise for the benefit of society instead of private enterprise bleeding their employees for their own benefit.

Can you provide the link that quotes Hillary calling Bernie a Russian asset? Charlie made the claim without evidence
