i heard that on the radio this morning and was shocked. Cuban might be a bit too much of a fanboy at times. Kobe has nothing at all to do with the Mavericks.

There's also a change.org petition that demands the NBA change its logo to one of Kobe's jumpshots. Its gotten to the point of silliness now
Jerry West is on record for saying they should change it. This isn't as crazy as Cuban retiring 24 in Dallas.

Yeah, go for it then and see how the MeToo movement will react to it. We're all waxing poetic about Kobe today but he does have that allegation of sexual assault against that girl in Colorado.
Sexual assault aside, it’s still retarded to change the NBA logo. Is this going to happen every time a famous athlete dies? Let’s say Jordan dies tomorrow, do we change the logo again? Does Cuban retire 23? I mean, how fucking dumb are these ideas?

basketball rewarded kobe with all the money that it took to afford the thing that killed him. Isn't that reward enough for someone that played a game for a living? Where's the public outcry for the woman that spends her life teaching special needs kids and lives in an apartment?

Nah, I say keep going with it until players are forced to start using symbols and emojis in their designation. As it is the concept of adult men running back and forth on a court to put a ball in a hoop and making millions of dollars in the process is stupid enough. Let's take this to its natural conclusion.

Pretty much admitted to the definition of rape. Right?

You have to admit that (comment aside) he handled that case pretty well for a 24 year old. Had his wife by his side admitting to getting strange while on the road on live TV.

Played the NBA season while fighting the charge. Even appearing in court and playing games the same day. No way an athlete can get away with that today.

Heard a caller on a radio program say he couldn't sleep last night because he is so upset about the death of Kobe. WTF is wrong with people?

Those people have absolutely no common sense, or no perspective. Wait until someone that's actually close to them dies, then we'll see how much the death of some athlete really affects their lives. The dust on my tv matters to me more than the death of Bryant.

I think so too. According to all accounts he was a great dad that took very good care of his children. His beautiful wife loved him deeply too.

Yeah, I feel like he was doing his best to make up for his rape against that Colorado woman.
Agree. He was 24. Grew up finally noticing how his actions (money) could jeopardize everything. Married, 4 kids, stellar Father.
