I am reluctant to call for an end to religion, because faith has given me comfort many times in my life. When I lost my faith my life went to shit, and when I rediscovered it my life got back on track. Many minor miracles in my life. Many coincidences. Faith codifies morality, among other things, which is important for happiness.
