And if you do use it they will try to not pay your medical bills and outright lie to you saying it isn't covered. Looks like I'm voting for Bernie and healthcare for everyone.
The only way that Bernie (or anyone else) could ever talk me into any kind of "government healthcare" is if the government kicked the insurance companies out of the equation 100% completely.

The only way I could ever see it working is if you had two choices. You could either do it yourself (buy insurance or pay cash on your own) or go to a government approved hospital/clinic and the government pay the bill for you. No middle men. No qualifying. Just proof you are an american and then the choice to use the government funded hospital.

But no one is touting a plan like that. Obamacare was the worst of both worlds. It had the government getting involved and insurance companies handling it. THAT IS A HORRIBLE IDEA!

i have no idea what point you are trying to make. i assume its some kind of political point. All I know is that during Obama, I (my company) was forced to negotiate with insurance companies to provide health plans for all of my employees (which I had to pay for) and it was the worst insurance money could buy. It was all approved as "meeting the requirements of obamacare". I think it cost around $200 a month per employee. I did it for a year and there was not one single claim. Not one penny was paid out by the insurance company for a single thing. No one even went in and got their "free checkup" (which was about the only thing it covered). And, if during that free checkup they found anything wrong, it wouldn't have been covered. I flushed over $100,000 straight down the toilet (well, not the toilet, but straight into the profit column for the insurance companies).

With Trump, no matter what your quotes say, i have not had to do any of that. If that means that trump was just blowing smoke and has/had no plan, then whatever. all i know is it hasn't cost me anything.

"Your questions on the novel coronavirus answered"

I thought the video embedded in this CNN article was highly informative, with Sanjay Gupta and Anderson Cooper. I'm not a big fan of Anderson but I think Sanjay is a sharp tack.

They mentioned that since this virus is so new they're not sure it will behave like the flu and significantly diminish when the weather gets warmer, it might have no effect.

One thing they recommended was that you have a 14 day food supply at home in case a quarantine is ordered, although they didn't say anything about face masks.

I read in a different article that the n95 respirator is the most effective and it's readily available on Amazon at a reasonable price. Apparently that has the fine filtration necessary to eliminate the virus from passing unlike the standard face masks being sold. The only problem is it tends to be harder to pull air through it and is basically more uncircumcized.

Anyway, if you have 14 minutes to listen to it, I recommend it, otherwise the text article is included.

First of all there isn't one account of the coronavirus here yet although I'm sure there will be.

Once again, you've displayed your ignorance Biker. Like I've tried to explain to you on numerous occasions making blanket statements like you just did is really stupid on your part & I thought you were intelligent enough to know better.

NJ has so many beautiful areas (like where I live, just 25 minutes from the appalachian trail and in some beautiful lush mountains & big blue lakes). There's a reason why NJ is one of the richest states in the country with one of highest salaries and one of the best educations. We're close to NYC, the NJ shore, we are diversified with possibly the best restaurants overall in the nation as well. NJ is lush and green, unlike drab Texas, for example. I don't know about all of Texas but I've been to Houston and Austin and wasn't impressed. That's why NJ & not Texas is known as the garden state.

Sure, it's expensive to live here and that's based on supply and demand. The cheapest housing are in bum fuck areas like Mississippi, West Virginia, and Arkansas. I'm sure there are nice places in all those places but next to NJ they're not as nice & much fewer and farther between. Do I want to live there? Fuck no.

What's funny is that my friend bragged to me one time about how much cheaper Florida housing is when he moved there about 10 years ago from NJ but he couldn't get a job paying more than 50k a year. With the salaries we have in NJ & if you just do simple math who cares if I'm paying like 6k a year more in taxes? LOL

Now, does NJ have some bad areas? Sure, just like virtually every other state in this country. And it's true, when my wife and I retire we might as well easily relocate to Florida and then benefit from the cheaper cost of living and taxes since we're no longer making the money we did in NJ. For now we'll continue to build our retirement nest egg by working & living in NJ & enjoy the beautiful amenities that this state has to offer.

Now, does that make sense to you or am I wrong?

Just a question CQ, if you get sick and have to go to the hospital, ultimately who ends up paying for it? Let's say you're flying down the road in your Camaro and crash into a tree and are unconscious, in critical condition, and need to get airlifted to a hospital for ER treatment. What about that situation?

Why are you restorting to name calling for? I just asked a question, since I'm not really that familiar with what it's like to not have health insurance.

OK, here's another question then. What if you are crossing the street and get run over by a hit and run and they never catch the person that did it? Now you require 100k in major surgery due to numerous broken bones and other miscellaneous injuries.

Who pays for it then?

This has been maybe the warmest NJ winter on record with just a total of 4 inches of snow that happened in December. It's been sunny and reasonably warm. I thank global warming. Hopefully that doesn't turn your summer in Florida into a major heat wave. At least when it's cold you can dress up to get warmer. When it's that hot there's not much you can do.

i wouldn't expect you to understand since your brain can't unscrew from "political" mode and you don't write the checks. The insurance that obamacare required was stupid. meaningless. it benefited no one except the insurance companies that got paid to sell it. It provided no coverage. The only thing it paid for was a checkup. It didn't cover the wife or the kids. Not one single employee added a wife or kids to the plan. Not one single employee went and got a checkup. Not one single employee went to a hospital for anything. No one even called the teledoc free phone number to get a prescription for a sick kid. Nothing. Over $100,000 of money paid to the insurance company for zilch. They would have been smarter to require me to give them that money in cash.

Liberals have no fucking idea what these programs mean. they fall for all the soundbites and fake statistics and the bull shit they hear. No one ever reports from inside the trenches where these programs meet the people they are supposed to help.

 Why are you so upset that I'm asking you some simple questions about not being insured, since I've always had health insurance? Is it because you are ashamed that you can brag about owning a camaro and a truck and live in the woods in PA, yet still be so cheap you can't even pay for your own health insurance and don't mind being a burden on society?

Is that not true? Think about it. Just like your politics you're always looking for "free stuff", why not be man enough to pay your own way bro? It's a serious question.

So it's no different than insurance now or before ACA except before they could deny coverage to sick. And you writing checks doesn't impress me.

Admitted? Is it a crime?
Just a question CQ, if you get sick and have to go to the hospital, ultimately who ends up paying for it? Let's say you're flying down the road in your Camaro and crash into a tree and are unconscious, in critical condition, and need to get airlifted to a hospital for ER treatment. What about that situation?
My car insurance you stupid fuck
Why are you restorting to name calling for? I just asked a question, since I'm not really that familiar with what it's like to not have health insurance.

OK, here's another question then. What if you are crossing the street and get run over by a hit and run and they never catch the person that did it? Now you require 100k in major surgery due to numerous broken bones and other miscellaneous injuries.

Who pays for it then?
What if you choke to death on a giant black cock? Does your wife just invite all the gym rats to live in your house?
 Why are you so upset that I'm asking you some simple questions about not being insured, since I've always had health insurance? Is it because you are ashamed that you can brag about owning a camaro and a truck and live in the woods in PA, yet still be so cheap you can't even pay for your own health insurance and don't mind being a burden on society?

Is that not true? Think about it. Just like your politics you're always looking for "free stuff", why not be man enough to pay your own way bro? It's a serious question.
I'm not here to answer your stupid question. Go google your made up fantasy bullshit.
