Why, you ask? Well that will mark Pluto's first birthday since it was found. That's right, folks. Our little planet-not-planet is gonna be one year old.

Well, the more you know...

I won't be celebrating for an additional 75 years though, celebrating when Pluto came out of the closet as a 'dwarf' planet. That's when the party begins!

That little rascal is not very big either. There's more surface area in Russia than on Pluto.

that would be over a 60 year long winter on Pluto. that must be brutal.
