Re: Wuhan Coronavirus
The numbers are so weird coming out of different countries. Look at the Great britain for example. They have 5 times LESS cases than the US has, but the numbers of dead are close to the same as the US. wtf?

Re: Wuhan Coronavirus
Yeah, it's a little confusing. They're comparing it day by day since the first outbreak that was reported in each respective country. It labels the actual date for the US on each bar, but not China, which makes it confusing. What it's saying is that the US has a higher rate of increase than China did at the point from the time the virus was introduced. What it's suggesting is that we'll end up with even more cases in the US than China had, which doesn't surprise me.

Re: Wuhan Coronavirus

Correction, they do provide the dates for China too. I couldn't see it on the other image.

What it is suggesting is that people are taking every opportunity to spread bullshit rumors either high or low in order to push their objective.FreakShowFanatic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 6:36 pmYeah, it's a little confusing. Fuckin attack threads.......
NYC in lockdown.
Chicago is supposedly going into it at midnight.
St Louis is rumored to go into lockdown Sunday.
Taking as much work home with me as I can in case I'm stuck there for 2 weeks. Technically I'll still have to come to the office every day to handle the mail.

LONG lines at the bank drives in's (can't walk in now). For some reason they don't have their "Tired Tellers" working.
Gonna have to get with the "modern days" and learn to use my cellphone, and risk the Russians watching.

Why would anyone need to go to the bank? Auto deposit. App deposit. Overnight drop deposit if nothing else works. Get cash from the ATM / grocery store.
I haven't been inside a bank in 6 months probably. I used to go in for business deposits but I now just throw those in the overnight deposit vault.

Well, admittedly there's phone apps that allow you to deposit by taking a picture of the check. Makes me nervous, worrying about hacking.Stapes wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 8:09 pmI have actually never been inside my bank since I moved to Florida...lol. And the autodeposit stuff (I call them "Tired Tellers" to make fun of "Tireless Tellers") was out of order for some reason (overworked somehow?). Couldn't deposit paychecks or get money today.
P.S. If I can deposit my paychecks, Quickcheck will allow money withdraws with no fees. Don't know if my bank will charge one though.

I dont mind going in. Sometimes I go in even when what I'm doing could easily be handled by the ATM. My bank has cute friendly tellers though. If they were not friendly and fugly I probably wouldnt.

For a champion of the blue collar working man you sure seem comfortable making them unnecessary.

Ah, so you acknowledge and understand that technology plays a part in the evolution of business. Cool. Thats good. Then I never want to see you bitch in this forum that blue collar workers are losing their jobs because of automation, technology and "evil" managers and owners.Stapes wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 11:48 pmI killed the milkman delivery jobWut wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 11:36 pmI suppose he should have a coal furnace and insist on elevator operators too?CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 11:10 pmMore than you apparently. Lord knows there are many "evil" managers and owners (I've known many) but that has nothing to do with technology and automation, just often selfish, greedy and bad people. Just sayin'.
