Ah, so you acknowledge and understand that technology plays a part in the evolution of business. Cool. Thats good. Then I never want to see you bitch in this forum that blue collar workers are losing their jobs because of automation, technology and "evil" managers and owners.
I'm all for technology and automation Cheezy but with all due respect you're talking apples and oranges here.

Lord knows there are many "evil" managers and owners (I've known many) but that has nothing to do with technology and automation, just often selfish, greedy and bad people. Just sayin'.
And who do you think wants and pushes for automation and technology to make business more efficient?

Mostly everyone, especially people that work in technology and automation like IT people and people in robotics. Plus investors in that type of business.

That's an easy question to answer. Democrats tend to live in more densely populated areas than do republicans. Pandemics like this one tend to spread more easily and faster in these types of areas.

its impossible to track world wide numbers. India so far has reported 244 cases of the virus. And they sit right between China and Iran. I don't know what their numbers should be, but there is obviously something way wrong with that information.

well there is obviously a lack of testing, but they only report 5 deaths. You don't have to test for a death. And the death rates, although they vary from country to country, they are a pretty good indication of the level of testing being done. Something doesn't seem right.

Total number of infections divided by total number of deaths. This is based on world wide totals.
Fuck this shit then, why are global markets shutting down then? There will be many more deaths due to people not able to pay their bills and basically starving to death. Let's open the schools back up and go back to work & like Biker & BRR said, fuck these old people, they never had our backs to begin with. Meanwhile, I'm pretty old & I'm still saying that.

Lack of interaction? Maybe nobody from India wants to go to China.

If you go by the number of cases that have had an outcome, the mortality rate is 12%.

Absolutely meaningless number. mortality rates changed all over the place depending on location and age. Some cities in China had 14% mortality rate and another city had 0.4. United States hasnt even got test kits out there yet, you don't know who's infected.
They are overreacting because they don't want all these hospitals shut down and overwhelmed by too many people at once. Yeah probably South Dakota isn't going to have a problem that doesn't mean there isn't a problem
