All the news from the peanut gallery and where all the nasty trash talk fails miserably.

Positives of the Kung Flu

#1

Post by Stapes »

I was driving the other night and it was a shocker to see so many restaurants and bars closed. I was thinking that one positive aspect is that DUI arrests and deaths are probably going to plummet nationally to record low numbers.
I blame Biker.

I was just telling my wife that it's amazing how 90% of the workforce can be laid off & yet we're still fine, living home with cable TV, Internet, great food etc. It just goes to show how we don't need to be paying all of this sick money to professional athletes, entertainers, restaurants, theaters, bars, etc. etc.

How in fucking God's name can people be starving to death in this country and left out to be homeless? It just goes to show how ruthless and greedy people can be. We can't provide just a little bit more to help people in need? Think about it.

Anybody see any numbers on how anti covid measures are affecting the flu? It's got to be making it less than normal, right?

When this finally blows over and we get the ok to try to get back to normal the bars and restaurants are going to be packed. The ones that can survive anyway.

If you can't be a good example, you can still serve as a horrible warning.

hmm. i'm not sure that is a fact. from what i have heard these viruses spread, then go apeshit (spiking), and then vanish. and this one should be no different, unless you know something that I haven't heard.

I think we've all heard/read the same stuff. I just mean there are going to be cases for awhile. We will think we're fine and then government will give the OK but there are still going to be some cases that pop up after that. Maybe more than a few.

The problem is that the only thing it's "killed" thus far is the US economy.

If you were a true warrior you would understand that they were expendable. LOL, I saw interviews with senior citizens and even they said they are expendable for the better cause of the majority of people in US. Shit man, a little pussy like you, I'm sure you're still looking for your free handout.

Listen to this song now, little boy.

I've not had an alcoholic beverage for two weeks now. I'm not sure if that is a positive.
