Back in about 1967 or so (I was about 4 years old) my dad, cousin and I went to see the globetrotters and at that time I don't remember knowing who they were and I don't even remember seeing a black person before. Anyway Curly grabbed me from my seat for the "water bucket routine" where another guy is going to throw the bucket of water on him and he grabs me as a shield. I was scared shitless. I had a snowcone in my hand and I broke free of curly and the snowcone went all over the basketball court and of course the crowd was going nuts but I took off like a rocket and ran back up to my dad. Another globetrotter ,I believe Bob "showboat" hall get's on the mike and says " you go to school and brush your teeth everyday or else next year when we're here we're gonna grab you again". At the time I wasn't too happy about it but here I am over 50 years later and it's pretty much just like yesterday. I also shook hands with Elvis Presley, met the guys in AC/DC a couple times. Met Tony Iommi and got him a gram of cocaine (imagine that). I've been pretty fortunate that I've manged to meet some of the people I think of as heroes or rock stars.

Too bad Curli didn't bang you up the azz. You would have remembered that even better.
