OH GAWD YES! I love chicharrones. Especially Bolivian/Peruvian/Colombian style. They soak random sized pieces in salt water for a day or two, then cook them in a little very hot oil in what's essentially a large wok. Served hot with a holy-shit! spicy green salsa called llajua verde. And raw corn beer called chicha. You'll be shiny clean the next morning. We have a couple of Colombian bakeries that serve it, it's Dee-Lish!

Bolivia also has a street food called anticuchos. It's a marinated beef heart sandwich. The heart is cut up into cubes and marinated in a savory base. Then skewered with potatoes (best a Bolivian type) and grilled. That's all shoved onto a sliced bun with llajua rojo and onion. Fuck!, it's good.

Yaaaasss Smash.

Lamb - chops yes
Ground - no. My shepherds pie was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the taste of ground lamb. It tasted generic.

Around here, a restaurant chain named Shoney’s had this as one of their go to desserts. I had not had one in years but the mother of my son’s best friend made us one last year. Holy shit it was good.

HOLY LORD SHONEY'S?! Are you in TN? I loved going there growing up and had all the little bears. I've not been in ages.
Yes. Shoney’s Hot Fudge Cake was their other go to dessert. Shoney’s is almost dead. Their restaurants are run down and their food is in worse shape than their buildings.
