Yeah. And its weird because the Social Security is spot on. He maxes out and when you divide by 12 months its right on the money. The Medicare is close, too.

But, rent + utilities for $1600 a month? Or "gas, car insurance, and maintenance" all for $320? No car payment, no lease payment. The middle part of that with all of the expenses seems way off.

I don't have a car payment either. I probably spend about the same a month.

Cool. I'm totally with you on Kindle. I own one and use it occasionally but I get most of my books from the local library. I read a lot of History/Biographies that involve a lot of maps, paintings, engravings etc that you just cannot see on Kindle. Solid book, please.

And besides, when the revolution comes, and it's coming, burning Kindles will totally ruin the environment.

Books look better in the fireplace anyway.

And you miss out on all the great covers.

You don't need a Kindle. I have two rooted color Nooks and a Samsung 12 Android tablet. The two Nooks hold 28G of book files each, and the Samsung hold 120G of book files. PDF and EPUB formatted mostly, but a few other formats. The real secret is knowing the right "peg-leg and parrot" routes to obtain the book files. There are vast online libraries available to check outs books both legally and illegally, and most don't want the books back.
