If it's all on the up and up, why the need for multiple shell companies? You understand why people create multiple shell companies, right?

wouldn't it be to make doing their taxes easier and to lower their CPA and legal costs?


i don't even like creating new LLC's for legitimate partnerships. all i can think of is "well there's one more franchise tax deadline to remember, one more tax payment to remember, one more CPA expense for taxes, etc, one more form on my personal taxes to pay for, etc."

Of course but Salty doesn't understand that creating numerous shell companies has been a tried and true endeavor of shady folks to obscure the origins of and/or launder money for, well....Basically forever.
