I also want to point out, I have gotten the shot. But I do understand the concerns.
so tell me why you think its trying to be forced on us.

because, to me its because there's a lot of people that feel like we can rid ourselves of the daily threat of this virus if enough people get vaccinated. obviously we won't rid of it around the globe until a large % of the globe is vaccinated.

but..... i believe that even when people come around with the virus it won't spread because with enough people vaccinated it won't have enough hosts to spread.
Because they want to do mandates. Even the talk of it is wrong. Again, this isn't the bubonic plague or small pox, again, this is something that really isn't that deadly. I whole heartedly believe the numbers are inflated. We do not mandate the flu shots, why this? Because we think we can make it go away? It isn't going to. It's the new flu shot, and that in the end should be what it's going to mount to. But if they wanted to vaccinate more people, the way they went about it, was totally wrong. And the way you're recommending it, is just as wrong.
you didn't answer the question. you told me that i can't see why its trying to be forced on us.

I asked you "why do you think its trying to be forced on us"?

I gave you my reason. Because I think they want to get the % numbers of people vaccinated up over 80% so that we reach herd immunity and the spread of the virus goes to nearly zero. <--- that's why I think they are trying to force people to get the vaccine.

Now, you tell me why you think they are trying to force people to get the vaccine.
The reason doesn't matter. It shouldn't be done.
If the reason doesn't matter, then why did you feel the need to point out that "you can't see why it's trying to be forced on us for something that's barely worse than the flu, then I don't think you're thinking logically"

I want to know why you don't think I can't think logically. In order to do that, I need to know why you think they are trying to force the vaccine on people. I have given you my reason that i used logical thought to come up with.

I think you can think logically- you're a conservative. And on most things you are, but this clear over reach by the government is I don't know, clouding your judgment. I think there needs a better reason than what you're providing, for this particular virus, to allow the government to overreach the way they are attempting, and the left want.

So, why do YOU think that the government would want to mandate vaccines? Why is that hard to answer?

Because it literally doesn't matter. Your answer is fine. The one where people think they are trying to see how far they can go, or control you is fine, because illuminati is fine, because the most nicest reason in the world is fine. Government over reach is rarely good. This is one of those times. In my opinion.

And my answer is, I don't care. This incident, does not warrant mandating vaccines. And the attempt to is over reach. What if the government forced you to give your employees free housing, and they said it's because people need houses and you can afford it. So now you have to provide them. The reason wouldn't matter to you, you would know that it's bullshit and be up in arms at the over reach. Same here for me. What's happening does not warrant the potential mandate. And it's over reach.

Well, first of all, its been 9 months now since the vaccines were put to use and there has been no government mandate to force anyone to get one. So, I'm a little suspicious of all of this outrage over a non issue.

But the pretend-like outrage is certainly having the effect of keeping a lot of people from getting a vaccination. So congratulations for whatever point you think that is making.

That's what I said in the beginning. And it's not pretend outrage, it's real outrage caused by improperly advising the people. Which has been my point from the beginning.

TOKYO—Olympic wrestler Tamyra Mensah-Stock was stripped of her gold medal Thursday after several of the athlete’s pro-USA comments were circulated online. A spokesman for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) said there’s no place for that type of vulgar language in sports today.

“The United States Olympic Committee stands for pretty much the opposite of what the United States of America stands for,” the spokesman said in a prepared statement. “We have enacted a strict no-patriotism policy for the Tokyo games which all athletes are required to uphold.”

Ms. Mensah-Stock was already on probation with the USOC for failing to kneel during the national anthem. “Since her pro-USA comments were her second offense in as many days, we had no choice but to strip her of her gold medal,” the spokesman said.
I’m not surprised.
