On the bright side I've noticed that air travel is very cheap right now. I can fly to Jersey and back for $21 each way on spirit this week. No... I'm not going
I'm confused. Why would you fly from Jersey to get to Jersey, and why would you be surprised that you'd get a good price if you wanted to do that?
P.S. Probably could fit all the passengers on that trip in Piper Cub
I moved to Port St Lucie Florida last year. No longer a Jersey guy. The price is from West Palm Beach to A.C.
I'm thinking about going to Florida soon. How do you like it there?
It is nice to wear shorts and a T shirt all year round....it is nice to see green all year round.
However, It is very busy. Tons of traffic and people and they seem to building more strip malls and apartment complexes on any land they can develop. Especially close to the coasts. I can only imagine what it's going to be like in 10 more years.

I don't think I've said anything other than it has the potential to be pretty devastating. You can stick your head in the sand and say its just the flu but your not really understanding what is going on. There is only x amount of cases today so its no big deal right? Well this thing has just started so if in 2 weeks the hospitals are filled to capacity will you still be posting your stupid ignorant shit?
America's hospitals will be overrun with coronavirus in just EIGHT DAYS: Obama's Medicare boss issues dire warning as doctors say as many as 500,000 are already infected and 10 MILLION will need care
Andy Slavitt, former Acting Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, issued the dire warning on Twitter on Saturday
There are only 790,000 hospital beds 100,000 ICU beds total in all of the hospitals across the country
Dr. Marty Makary warned people not to believe the current figures that only 2,200 are infected
He says the true number is likely far more and that as many as half a million people already have it
Dr. Makary urged people to be more vigilant said 'we're about to experience the worst epidemic since polio'
Johns Hopkins predicts 9.6million people will need to be hospitalized and 3million will need ICU care
Doctors and nurses fear the hospital system, which is already overrun by the flu season, may buckle
In Italy, doctors are having to choose between critically ill people to treat because resources are short
Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?
what in the fuck? do you read what you write? actually, what you just wrote there is probably worse than the numbskull put on the front page of that magazine.
what point are you actually trying to make? I know you are spreading as much doom and gloom as you can, but what is your real point. What do you think we need to be doing as a nation? I know you like to spout off the worst statistics you can find, but put all that bullshit aside and just cut to the chase. what do you think should be done?
Stapes has a president that he wants gone. He's a selfish prick
and a republican party that needs to be squashed. Things take time.

if andy slavitt was in charge of Obama's Obamacare, then I can see why it turned into such a steaming pile of shit.

The coronavirus was first detected in the US 2 months ago. (Pay attention Stapes). With the knowledge that we have no idea how this current crises will end, I'm using this post to do a side by side comparison between the current and the H1N1 virus from 2009 with a Major side issue. 2009 H!N!/ affected Americans 60 Million + vs 2020 coronavirus 2,200 as of this morning. Quarter Million hospitalized vs unknown. 12,500 death vs 40 as of this morning. So, since the liberal media still tells us they are unbiased, still upholding their unofficial title as the 4th branch of govt to protect democracy, carrying on the journalism tradition of Edward Murrow, Walter Cronkite, etc and since one occurred during the deepest recession since the Great Depression and the other occurred during maybe the greatest economic boom. So, if you had to guess, which of the crises would they spend 98% of their time spooking the public, investors and which would they report occasionally and not bat an eye. 2009 vs 2020. I'm stumped- have no clue. Anyone have any idea? I can't see any connection (eyeroll).

This isn't a side by side comparison, it's some partisan whining.

So Trump declared a "National Emergency" 2 months in when the number passed 2,000 cases. Obama declared a "National Emergency" 6 months in when the number passed 20 Million. Guess which one drew the liberal presses criticism. You can't can't make this insanity up if you even tried.

Because Obama jumped on the crisis quickly and saved many lives. It would have been much worse if he had not.
Obama declared a public health emergency on April 26, 2009 after roughly 20 cases of the H1N1 flu strain, more commonly known as swine flu, emerged, and before a single swine flu death in the U.S. was reported. Such a declaration allows the government to unlock money for antiviral drugs and other medical preparedness measures. By April 29, Obama had requested Congress approve a $1.5 billion emergency funding package to combat the pandemic, The Associated Press reported at the time.
It was in October, after 1,000 U.S. deaths, that Obama made another declaration related to the flu strain; this time a national emergency.
That national emergency allowed the U.S. to activate operational plans, such as moving emergency rooms offsite to keep those infected with the virus away from other emergency room patients.
Last year, after Trump was criticized for declaring a national emergency at the border, Republican Sen. Kevin Cramer, of North Dakota, wrongly claimed that Obama overreached with such declarations during his time in office because he announced a national emergency in 2009 before a “single case” had been reported in the U.S. In fact, swine flu cases were active in 46 states when Obama made the declaration.

i was flipping channels last night and on Ch 4 they had some kind of wrestling. which must have been live because there was no audience. there were two girls in the ring and two girls on a walkway coming out of the locker room and they were talking smack back and forth and the whole place was empty.
if these sports shows thing their content is good enough to produce without an audience, then they have a few things to learn. There are no sports that will be interesting without an audience. Not even golf.
