That box tent thing,I'm going to say maybe 50 years ago my dad brought one of those thingys home from work.He ran a plastic injection shop and one job was quoting what it would cost. I had never seen one,what he had was just something someone had made by hand,he said "that's a -----" and at that time it had a weird name,I don't remember but he didn't call it box tent. So after the name he said he'd like to get the job because "before too long no matter where you get a pizza ,if it's in a box,it will have one of these in it". He didn't get the job though.But he def. didn't call it a box tent. Aglet,I'm surprised I forgot that.I heard it all the time at the rink. That was actaully the first place I saw heat shrink tubing. Must have been 1975 or so. Skate supply places sold it to place on ends of laces. Then around that time we went to different lace material that would melt,so when it got frayed you could just "flick your bic" and light the end of the lace and then take a wet towel and just form a new "aglet" on the end. A couple years after that the old bic came in pretty handy from time to time.

i was watching beverly hillbillies. Miss Hathaway bought Elli May a mess of proper clothes.It was one of the first episodes.So Ellie saw the stuff and took off running and Jed found her up in a tree whittling away on a Y shaped piece of wood' "what you doin" "making me a slingshot" then she tied whatever to it and held it up. That stretchy part was a new bra "Whoo Doggy a double barrel" I think Miss Hathaway was a lesbo,she could have fit right into the "squad" the squad was a group of teenage girls at the rink and they were suspected of all being lesbian. They had a falling out with the rink though so they don't skate there anymore.
