The sports radio shows are already unlistenable. All they have to talk about now is coronavirus.

Without knowing how the current plays out, Your logic holds no water. 60 Million vs 2,200. You literally can't be this stupid. Right?Wut wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:08 pmThis isn't a side by side comparison, it's some partisan whining.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 9:04 pm The coronavirus was first detected in the US 2 months ago. (Pay attention Stapes). With the knowledge that we have no idea how this current crises will end, I'm using this post to do a side by side comparison between the current and the H1N1 virus from 2009 with a Major side issue. 2009 H!N!/ affected Americans 60 Million + vs 2020 coronavirus 2,200 as of this morning. Quarter Million hospitalized vs unknown. 12,500 death vs 40 as of this morning. So, since the liberal media still tells us they are unbiased, still upholding their unofficial title as the 4th branch of govt to protect democracy, carrying on the journalism tradition of Edward Murrow, Walter Cronkite, etc and since one occurred during the deepest recession since the Great Depression and the other occurred during maybe the greatest economic boom. So, if you had to guess, which of the crises would they spend 98% of their time spooking the public, investors and which would they report occasionally and not bat an eye. 2009 vs 2020. I'm stumped- have no clue. Anyone have any idea? I can't see any connection (eyeroll).

and thanks to the ESPN- Dish/ Direct multi year contract, ATT announced this week ( after paying almost $50 Billion for Direct 5 years ago) that they are abandoning Direct to the rural areas and 3rd world countries. 3 Million lost last year= Dish probably the same. I cancelled Dish a couple of months ago.. Got a stern warning that they were shipping me boxes and shipping materials/ labels and I had 30 days to ship back their valuable equipment or face some massive charges per the contract. Waited 2 weeks. Contacted again 10 days ago to reset the 30 day clock. Still nothing. I have all the Dish equipment in a pile and will throw in the trash in 3 months. Dumb business concept that made total sense 20 years ago and the idiots in charge never considered options like letting you select and pay for the options you want. Bye. And get this POS dish off my roof.Wut wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 11:20 pmFrom Forbes:WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 10:39 pmWhat is this ESPN you speak of? ESPN still generates more than $3 billion in operating earnings thanks to monthly affiliate fees of $8. The brand is addressing cord-cutting with direct-to-consumer initiatives like ESPN+...

You really have to give credit to the Democratic Party and the "liberal media" to have such power as to cause Countries across the globe to basically shutdown and self quarantine.
