I don’t know what scared five bears up into a tree, but I do know I don’t want to meet it.

Thanks for this Geist. Remembered I bought Season 1 many years ago. I was so turned off by episode 1 (thought the whole run would be the same), I shelved it and forgot I had it. It's pulled to start watching this week.Geist wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 8:33 pmHighly recommended. The first episode was directed by Martin Scorsese, and IMO was pretty fucking boring. I had to push past it but once I did it was a masterpiece of HBO TV all the way through.
You can also sadly ignore the final season. The show almost completely changed in style and writing, and just isn't the same as the first four seasons. BWI probably should have just ended at the fourth season, it pretty well wrapped up then. I'm a big Buscemi fan, and watching him and other talented cast members yuck up such drivel lines, I couldn't watch it.CentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 12:09 amThanks for this Geist. Thanks. I only bought Season 1 but my local library has a huge selection of movie/ Tv series DVD's that I can check out 3 weeks at a time.QillerDaemon wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 3:14 pmYou can also sadly ignore the final season. Should I tell you how to stream movies and TV shows for free... or should I continue to watch you be stupid and enjoy making fun of you?CentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 7:26 pm I guess Canada doesn't have local libraries. Not enough literate people to bother, I guess.
Speaking of your local library, you should see if they provide either of these streaming services. I think they both similar. Ad-free and you can do 10 checkouts a month. My county library does Kanopy. Had to get a library card next county over for HooplaCentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 6:13 pm
