Sanders just threw his hat into the ring saying a lot more of the country is behind his ideas this time around, which is true. 77 is just too old for the job though. I guess that will be negated by trump's age if it came to it, and the simple fact that Bernie is clearly a lot sharper, but Pence is only 59. I'd nix him in the primaries just based on age but y'all do seem to love the old as dirt folks for judges and politicians. We put our judges out to pasture at 75 max. I think it was only churchill who exceeded 70 while in office over the last century, and he was Churchill (left office the second time at 80). 50 is around the mark these days to get the job.

There really should be an age limit. Bernie was too old last time around now add 4 more years. Come on, man. Politics must be such a powerful drug for people that it causes them to override all common sense. For him not to recognize at this point that he missed his window is selfish and possibly harmful to the rest of the field.
