only I'm not locked into only CNN stories, all the top news is aggregated and I can customize my feed. Much like NCBiker does with Twitter.
yeah, i can see that. however, almost any news site is going to be carrying the same "breaking news". which is usually all I am after. but most of my news i get on the radio going from job to job.

I heard an article yesterday that many restaurants that are now fully open are having to cut back hours because they can't find enough people to fill up a schedule and be open. Same problem I am going through, I can't find anyone that wants a job.
I just keep hearing the same thing about people would rather draw unemployment until it runs out. Even if they are making less than they could be.

Yep. In my tourist town restaurants are hurtin for certain. Can’t get help and are reducing hours. Two of my favorites have made permanent adjustments. One has closed his dining room for good. The other is closed weekends.
And the lumber yard can’t get anybody. The workforce pool is tainted with THC, and workmen’s comp won’t cover stoners on forklifts.

The problem seems to stem from the sloths who receive the same or more in federal and state COVID unemployment benefits than they would from working. Its a progressive utopia.

Montana and South Carolina are the first two states to quit offering the federal money for unemployment. Montana has talked about offering a bonus instead for people who go back to work.

yeah, in the beginning it was that they were making more on unemployement than they can working. then it turned into they would rather draw unemployment than go back to work for the same $$. Now its just that they would rather stay home and get unemployment for less $$ than have to go to work every day.
That last Covid bailout was a huge mistake at exactly the wrong time.
