I wouldn't call burn a childish cunt, but if that's what you think. Also, calling a person names and then saying childish cunt as an insult. Nice.

It is not clear to what extent WalkAway is an example of astroturfing rather than a genuine grassroots movement. Straka has stated that WalkAway does not receive major donations and that "everything is grassroots support from Americans who send us $5 or $100."[12] As of May 2020, the Center for Responsive Politics reported that of the $20,104 donated to WalkAway in 2020, $7,521 were contributed by nine large ($200 or more) donors, of which Straka is one.[13][better source needed] Soon after its founding in 2018, WalkAway received a $10,000 donation from Alex Jones and InfoWars.[14][2][15]

David A. Love of CNN condemned the campaign as "pure propaganda [and] a psychological operation."[16] The website Hamilton 68, which tracks Russia's interference on U.S. elections, reported that WalkAway was "connected to Kremlin-linked Russian bots to manipulate voters into thinking the movement was more popular and active that it actually was."[12]

Abby Ohlheiser of The Washington Post claimed that "[t]here’s little actual evidence to suggest that #WalkAway represents a mass conversion of millions – or even thousands – of Democrats" and contrasted the broad appeal of true viral videos with the "Conservative Internet viral" nature of the WalkAway video.[17] ThinkProgress characterized the WalkAway campaign as "a grifting operation," noting efforts by the organizers to sell dinner packages priced in the hundreds of dollars to march attendees.[18]

Slate journalist Mark Joseph Stern accused Straka of presenting royalty-free stock images from Shutterstock and claiming they were of people who had left the Democratic Party,[19] though Straka has denied that any such material originated from the WalkAway campaign. Fact-checking website Snopes stated that it could not determine whether this use of stock images had originated from campaign organizers.[20]

Storming the capitol
Straka attended the 2021 storming of the United States capitol and spoke to crowds on Tuesday, January 5 where he referred to the audience as “patriots” and referred repeatedly to a “revolution.” He also told the attendees to “fight back” and added, “We are sending a message to the Democrats, we are not going away, you’ve got a problem!”

The next day Wednesday, January 6, he urged protestors to take away a police officer’s shield shouting “Take it away from him,” Straka allegedly yelled. “Take it! Take it!” Later as others tried to charge through the entrance to the Capitol, the activist shouted: “Go! Go!”[21]

On January 8, 2021, Facebook closed the WalkAway group page, which had more than half a million followers at the time. The page was replaced with a message from Facebook saying the page had violated its terms of use.[22] The shutdown came in the wake of the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol, when Facebook and other social media platforms increased their enforcement of terms of service that ban the incitement of violence.[23] Facebook claimed the page violated a policy on content that was, "hateful, threatening, or obscene", but failed to identify what exactly violated said policy.[24]

In January 2021, Straka was charged with "interfering with police during a civil disorder" and unlawful entry into a restricted building, as well as disorderly conduct.[4]

OH SHIT...if you have been watching this the defense raised question early in the testimony that the liquid the firefighter lady that was a bystander said she thought was fluid from floyd...there was a puddle of condensation dripping from the cars tailpipe by where floyd head was...they kept bring up the fluids and cross examined the prosecutions witness about it...and if the car was running etc. they all said basically yes that was fluid from the car. they also were saying floyd drifted of to sleep under him being subdued. this was the prosecution...now during the new witness from the defense they are showing that the car was running and the car was dumping emissions into Floyds face the entire time he was on the ground and that he succumbed to a combo of drugs, pressure and co2 poisoning. the defense had been leading into this the entire time during the case and now just spelled it out. i havent seen the witness on cross yet but wow what a curve ball. it actually makes a ton of sense when they spell it out. YIKES

so, if you hold a guy down in front of a running exhaust pipe, does that mean you aren't guilty of anything? Or is this just to cast a shadow of reasonable doubt about the cause?

its just a shadow of doubt. its super interesting how they are getting to the point. the dude died there is not a lot of arguing it. the way he died has to be concrete and there are too many things happening to pin it on one item. its pretty fascinating to watch and see how its unfolding. btw...the co2 level in the guy is important but consistent with a person that died from co2 poisoning. i am watching parts of it and the dr they have on the stand has been on there for 6 hours. I'm on hour 3

When you bring up the exhaust pipe, that tells me the defense is throwing anything they can against the wall to see if it sticks. Fuck Chauvin, he murdered a man

well, just playing devil's advocate. it seems that all they are trying to prove is that the position Chauvin took was not what killed him. Meaning that under different circumstances, what Chauvin did would not have resulted in anyone dying.

you have a heart that's vulnerable because of 90% blockage and enlarged, certain drugs in the system like meth and fentanyl, carbon monoxide, pressure from the knee...add it all up and its a recipe for disaster. what a shit show.

Do I believe the cop meant to kill him? No. Do I think the cop meant to cause him substantial pain and suffering? Fuck yeah. I think that is all too obvious. The fact remains that had he not knelt on that dudes neck he'd be alive-regardless of any other circumstances. Manslaughter seems appropriate.

would he be alive if he had just gotten into the police car like he was asked to do? I don't mean to diminish what the cop did, which was terrible, but if people don't see all contributing factors and admit that they all need to be part of the solution, then this kind of thing will continue to happen.

Interestingly, the exhaust killed Kirby while he was laying on the road surface, but didn't kill Chauvin while he had his knee on Kirby's neck and incidentally was closer to the exhaust pipe than Kirby was.

i know you are just spitballing, but the fact is that carbon monoxide is almost the exact same weight as air and so it doesn't rise or fall. it simply stays where it is.

Vehicle exhaust isn't 100% carbon monoxide
