Gearing up to get things started for this season.
March 29 is approximately 8 weeks before our last frost. That's when I need to start my pot and tomato seeds.
We are legally allowed to grow 4 plants per household. (I did 5 last year.) I have a friend just out of town off the grid, who has 100 acres of bush. She told me if I start what I want she'll plant them in the back 40 for me. So I'm looking at a few dozen plants this year.
For the tomatoes I think I'm going to look at wolf piss as a deer repellent this year.

So, after your grow last year, did you take seeds from the best plant in order to start this year with?

I do have some but I'm going to keep those in reserve for now. I'm using some that were donated to me from my friends plants. She averaged 16' on hers last year.
