There has to be some embellishment there from the barkeep. Thats basically 2 bottles of wine per man plus all the other stuff. Is that even possible?

Alcohol consumption back then was off the charts. You forget it was almost 100 years before the nature of microbes was understood. Water, milk being unpasteurized could cause dysentery and other water born diseases. Alcohol prevented that and was drunk pretty much all day long.

I suppose I could get behind the claim if it was like an all day affair or there were also some unaccounted for guests there as well (friendly women). I just can't imagine 1 dude polishing off 2 full bottles of wine, a shot, a mug of beer and then polish that off with hard cider and alcoholic punch. I'd be fucking dead.

I drank 19 natural ice beers the other night and then had some of the beer I made. I didn't really pay any attention as i was just doing housework and working on a small guitar amp I need to put new capacitors in it. I was just writing down what caps I needed. But I've found 24 beers in 24 hours gets me pretty fucked up.

In the 70's in high school we were allowed to use calculators on exams because if you didn't know how to correctly enter the equation to start with you were screwed.

In the phillippines they did a little thing with calculators. It was something like "a 13 year old girl (so you enter 13} walked past 6 sailors (enter 6) drinking 15 beer na beer (enter 15) what happened next? Turn the calculator upside down and it read "gilogos" that was the phillippine word for rape. Such a fun learning experience.

there was a dude at the rink that really started looking feminine and one night the manager told him she was wondering when he was going to show up in a dress and he said he didn't think other customers would want to see him wearing one of his dresses. A few years later I saw him at walmart trying on bras. I told my friend about it and he said he was driving thru a nearby town and here's the guy building a house and he was wearing a dress. He got in trouble at another rink, talking to a young girl and it was bad enough police were called so that rink called our rink and told them about it but due to the investigation they couldn't give details just "might want to keep your eye on him" . He owns a towing company, just him and a tow truck, but it would be pretty weird if he showed up in a dress. I was thinking "to each his own" no big deal , but if he wants to be a woman at least he could shave his body, because the mother fucker is a hairy sum bitch!

At times I think of having dinner with Jack and Johnny Depp, that would be weird. Nicholson, whom I think chainsmokes camels probably stinks like cigs but I think it would make for an interesting evening. After dinner he'd probably find a hooker to take behind a garbage dumpster to get a blowjob. So me and Depp would just sit there and talk about random shit.
