i know you aren't dumb enough to not understand the real point. No one really thinks that any of this is a hoax. But, a lot of people feel like the nutty fringe of the democratic party are using this pandemic as a means to undermine the current government in charge. Obviously you see that happening, right?
That is something I saw on CSNBC's youtube chat.Flumper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 2:56 pmi know you aren't dumb enough to not understand the real point. I have seen a lot of people picking out things that could have been done differently, like the airport screening saturday or sunday. obviously that got a lot of traction because it made great pictures for tv.
Of course they see it. They see it every time. But they are going to continue to say this shit anyway.Flumper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 2:56 pmi know you aren't dumb enough to not understand the real point. Oh wow, I guess The Trump Administration should be exempt from any criticism yet it be seen as partisan. Just like The Bush Administration was after 9-11 and Obama was during a certain terror attack in Libya.Flumper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:14 pmI have seen a lot of people picking out things that could have been done differently, like the airport screening saturday or sunday. obviously that got a lot of traction because it made great pictures for tv.
i have just always hated monday morning quarterbacks, so it strikes me as so stupid and immature. But, I do love to read where someone has made a suggestion and then seen whether it was done or not and weighed the consequences.
For example, if a team was about to run a 3rd down play in a particular situation and you said, "They should fake a run, roll out and throw......". Then watch the play unfold, see what they really do and what the defense was prepared for, etc.
But, in this situation, i don't see any of "you guys" giving suggestions, only criticism. I called out Stapes the other day and asked him straight up 'what do you think the nation should do?". Of course, rather than answer, he gave some snarky canned remark that has been perpetuated by the political brainwashing.

We have grocery stores around here that are actually doing that.hawkfan8812 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:35 pm What should we do?
All grocery stores should only allow senior citizens in the store for the first two hours of each day to allow them to get their supplies without having to be around a bunch of crazed, selfish fucks
The cities and states can easily mandate this.hawkfan8812 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:35 pm What should we do?

That is a good idea. I saw a breakdown of the mortality rate of this virus based on different age categories. Really young it was almost 0%. Up to over 80 yo it was around 25%.hawkfan8812 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:35 pm What should we do?

Okay, so let's break down that riveting wealth of information.Stapes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:50 pm
I'm not sure which snarky remark your referring to. I have many. What should the nation do? Well its not the nation in charge its the Trump administration. I started this thread at the end of January. I'm a fucking nobody and saw this thing was a problem. I am sure at the highest levels of the government this administration was given information about what was going on in China and the possible/probable infection getting to the U.S.
Trump ignored and downplayed the virus up to less than 2 weeks ago. His administration lied repeatedly about it being contained because he felt the news would affect his re-election against the advice and information of world experts. We are still behind the 8 ball because there isn't enough testing equipment to see exactly what the infection rate is and had the gall to refuse testing equipment from the World Health Organization.
We could have spent 6 weeks prepping hospitals and responders with proper equipment and coordinating response teams and getting everybody on state and federal levels on the same page but because of his ignorant arrogance we're stuck putting out fires. It isn't political brainwashing. It is a systematic failure of this administration, the unqualified leadership he has put in positions of power and his own incompetence. He doesn't belong in the job....he isn't fit to manage a newspaper stand. Instead of constantly worrying about hurting your cult leaders feelings you should be just as angry as me that he has failed everyday for 3 years.

1. Trump ignored the coronavirus up to less than 2 weeks ago. Surely you don't believe that.
Absolutely I do.
2. He lied about it because of his re-election campaign.
Already stated by aides.
3. Once again, you think testing equipment would some how have contained the virus. Ask Italy how that works.
No where did I state testing would have contained. Knowing the rate of infection and who was infected would have been helpful in slowing it down so hospitals aren't overwhelmed
4. We could have spent 6 weeks getting hospitals and everyone ready for what? What would they be ready for that they aren't ready for now?

You just typed all of that bullshit and provided nothing. Not one fucking idea.
Your are dumb as a rock.
So, wait. You honestly think that our hospitals are totally overwhelmed? Are you fucking serious? In this whole entire country we have 1700 cases. Most of which are mild. Where are these hospitals that are being over run with people?Stapes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 4:09 pmFlumper wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:57 pmOkay, so let's break down that riveting wealth of information.Stapes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 3:50 pm
