Who wants Jordan as Speaker? Who is running and likely to be your nominee for president? Who broke his oath to the country and Constitution and tried to install himself as leader despite losing his election? Who is a criminal currently charged and on trial in multiple jurisdictions? Who is it that all of you are going to "reluctantly" vote for because there is "no other choice" unless you prefer democracy in this country?

so you think Trump is the leader of the GOP? That's fair enough. There's plenty of people that hope you are right. I'm just not one of them. Matt Gantz is though, so you've got a friend there. I don't think he will be on the ballot next November. I also don't think Jordan will ever be speaker. And I'm not saying any of this because I'm afraid of anything.dot wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 12:59 amWho wants Jordan as Speaker? Who is running and likely to be your nominee for president? if your head wasn't 4 feet up your ass, you would know that McHenry is absolutely being considered for Speaker. He has been since day 1. I would guess he will be given more power without the full title within a week, maybe tomorrow. do you listen to any news or is it just occupy democrats on facebook for you?saltydog wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 12:59 am In every organization, there's a guy. My guess is that it would be you in your business.
If you truthfully think it's McHenry, you're a fool. McHenry is a placeholder. A substitute teacher, regardless of the line of succession.
So, who is THE guy/gal? To refer back to my education terms, the Superintendent. Or the chairperson of the school board.
If it indeed WAS McHenry, why isn't he being considered for Speaker?
So as I said, chicken shit.
Nope. Wrong. He WAS being considered as a temporary solution, but it was struck down by the GOP today.Animal wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 1:05 amif your head wasn't 4 feet up your ass, you would know that McHenry is absolutely being considered for Speaker. i haven't heard the story behind that if they abandoned that plan. I thought it sounded like an almost done deal this morning. Not important what I think, the question was who is leading the Republican party and the only real metric you can use for that is who's calling the shots. Go back over the year and examine what they have done while in power and then examine the tiny hand fingerprints pointing them along the way. So even if you don't want to claim him publicly as the Republican party leader, they are operating under his direction. Whether that's blowing up the budget deal to try and put a stop to his prosecutions, to conduct a sham impeachment hearing against Joe Biden because he got impeached rightfully, or simply to throw enough mud that the GOP can distract from how awful Trump was as a president let alone a human being so he can try and get the job back. But you're not afraid to acknowledge that, no sir. Maybe we should just assume that you couldn't put that together, wouldn't be the first time you chose to be ignorant on a subject.Animal wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 1:03 am so you think Trump is the leader of the GOP? your entire democratic caucus worked under his power. you voted with Matt Gantz and Matt is a direct puppet of Trump. Oh, are we back to this now? You can't accept that this is a mess of your own making? I redirect you to what they say behind closed doors about who's at fault for this. Don't blame me that your reps take their orders from a leader that has no loyalty to anyone but himself. McCarthy was Trump's guy until he wasn't. Then it was on to the next avatar like Jordan, but even all of them can't stomach the idea of him as Speaker.Animal wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 1:23 am your entire democratic caucus worked under his power. you voted with Matt Gantz and Matt is a direct puppet of Trump. Because Jordan is not Trump, he can't motivate simpletons in the base like you to turn on his coworkers like Trump does. Jordan also can't bully his way into power behind the scenes. But hey, if you don't believe me, tell me again why you got your sham impeachment hearing despite there not being a vote for it. I'll wait, the twisting and turning on this should be entertaining.
Nope. You cant move the goalposts now, homeschool. You spent the last past page insisting Trump was the unquestioned leader and called all the shots. He wanted Jordan and Jordan LOST votes. Damn, maybe he doesnt call all the shots after all.dot wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 1:38 amOh, are we back to this now? You can't accept that this is a mess of your own making? So since you clearly have the memory of a gnat, this is when McCarthy was Trump's guy until he wasn't:
You know that is from January, right? Holy fuck! Such a fucking hack!dot wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 1:55 amSo since you clearly have the memory of a gnat, this is when McCarthy was Trump's guy until he wasn't:
Trump endorses McCarthy after three failed speaker votes

And since you have the intelligence potential of that same gnat, there was no goalpost moving. Your party has spent the last year doing Trump's bidding. Just because the guy who only hires the best people chose wrong yet again on his next flavor of the moment doesn't change what they've done for him the whole year. Your previous obsession of Hunter Biden was entirely at his behest because Trump wanted to conjure up dirt on Joe Biden. He couldn't get Ukraine to make something out of nothing, but boy your reps were more than happy to do so.
As predicted, it's very amusing how you will twist to avoid admitting reality.

In case you didnt realize its now October and Trumps chosen pick is Jordan. Jordan failed round 1 and LOST votes round 2. Thems the facts, homeschool.
You'll never be accused of being intelligent, what an utter moron you are.
Most functioning human beings would have gathered the point being that Trump backed McCarthy until Trump no longer had use for him. Now he's on to a new toy, but the problem is his new toy is someone much more reviled than McCarthy. Doesn't change the fact that they've done his bidding all year long and will continue to bow down to him until the rubes like you will finally not vote for Trump.dot wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 1:55 am So since you clearly have the memory of a gnat, this is when McCarthy was Trump's guy until he wasn't:

So your article from 10 months ago is meaningless.
Trumps guy is Jordan and he got shot down. You said Trump is the unquestioned leader. If thats the case why did the unquestioned leader get his pick shot down not once but twice? Sorry, you just cant reconcile that.
No, of course not, only you and dot do that. Since they currently do not occupy the White House, there is no defined "leader". Current "leaders" of the party would be McConnel, Trump, DeSantis and the next Speaker of the House. You could even throw Youngkin and Cruz in there too.saltydog wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 2:14 amHey "coward". Except it's not. It establishes how your dear leader expects loyalty from his subordinates but has none in return. So because Trump endorsed him back then and then he fell out of favor, he's gone via the tools McCarthy gave away.
Now Trump wants Jordan, but he chose poorly. Enough of your reps aren't going to support the vile human being that is Jordan. But that doesn't change what they've done all year long, and interestingly, you cannot acknowledge the events of this year. So looks like that chicken streak is contagious. Twist away, mark.

Is that your problem again? I'm not arguing what you want me to argue? Cause you're setting up yet another strawman when it's not what I said. Another amazing twist to avoid admitting reality, disingenuous hack.
Nah, the only problem I have is trying to reason with a disingenuous hack lack you who also maintains a tendency toward retardation.
