Schooling the dummies on baseball rules is always so satisfying.
Wow! You knew a baseball rule. I'm shocked!
It's a shame you don't know a God damned thing about the fundamentals of how to PLAY baseball.
How about this for fundamentals retard. The only reason this one play was even an issue was because he hit the long drive to far far right field (right in front of him and in sight running down the first base line). If he had hit it to left center or far center, he watches the first base coach to tell him how to handle the next phase of the play (If any). You handle both the same way. 1st base coach was at fault on that play. Any other fundamentals I can edjucate you about?

So, in your case. Every high five from a base coach on a 400+ foot HR is an automatic out?
Moron.
Once the ball leaves the field, it's a HR. After that the batter can run around the outfield getting high fives from the fans it he wants to. Of course he can expect to get beaned every time after that. Unwritten rule and all that. Try to keep up.

And yeah, I made that last part up. I don't think a batter can run around the outfield. What you do see is a batter hit a single to the outfield. He rounds the 1st base and if he knows he can't make second he returns and touches first base. Then the play is dead and the 1st base coach can give him a high/low 5, fist bump whatever. When he turns around and the throw to second is off, he can run to second. But because the play is dead, it's not a double but a single and stolen base.

I swear to Gawd... I don't know how that guy has been in the league for 11 years!
That swing was atrocious. He hasn't played badly this year though.

Profar runs hot and cold but he has been warm overall for the Pads this year. Same game he wiffs at a ball 10 ft in front of home plate he does this...

Me sliding into Gisele's smart ass bitch's like...
"Hey Rob! If you want the youth, end the blackouts, dumbass!"
Oh, end the TV blackouts. Acting like they still have some power like the NFL.
MLB is notorious for standing pat and not properly promoting their stars. The NFL and NBA under Tagliabue and Stern figured it out and knew how to market (especially to youth).
Manfred is the epitome of puppet. If you can remember the Philip Green character from Casino, that's Manfred. He deserves all the venom he gets as the corporate hacks he represents.

Here in Texas, you can occasionally catch the Astros on ESPN. There's a regional MLB network here called Balley that only shows the bottom dwelling Texas Rangers year after year.

Now I wonder if that wasn't at a World Series game in Houston and somebody talking about that exact circumstance.
