As a rough analogy: electricity is defined by the number and movement of electrons (negatively charged particles), so they can be analogized by looking at them as water molecules moving thru a pipe. Voltage is water pressure (a battery or a electric motor are kinds of electrical pumps), amperage is the flow of water moving thru the pipe, and resistance is the shape and roughness of the water pipe, which itself is a function of the water pressure (voltage) over the flow of water moving thru the pipe (amperage).

speaking of old pervs...my family had a neighbor and he borrowed our tractor every now and then.
