And it was a straight up lie in any case, his internal polls showed the same as all the 'fake news' polls, and his incompetent leaky admin leaked that already. They've just purged their pollsters to try and avoid further leaks of very bad news.

Great, when UJ-R gets shut down because of this, where are we all going next?

The Democrats had better think long and hard before they make this a "major issue."

Spending my tax money for this is a "hell no" for me, and I'm not a Chumper.

Really shows how out of touch they are and how far left theyve gone.
It’s a stark shift from previous presidential campaigns where Barack Obama opposed reparations.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama opposes offering reparations to the descendants of slaves, putting him at odds with some black groups and leaders.

The man with a serious chance to become the nation's first black president argues that government should instead combat the legacy of slavery by improving schools, health care and the economy for all.

"I have said in the past — and I'll repeat again — that the best reparations we can provide are good schools in the inner city and jobs for people who are unemployed," the Illinois Democrat said recently.

The former vice president’s current stance on reparations as it relates to next year’s election was unclear. However, he said in 1975 in no uncertain terms that he was totally against the idea.

“I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather,” Biden said at the time. “I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation. And I’ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago.”

I hope he stays strong on it.
"I'm supportive of the concept of acting proactively to right these wrongs," South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg said on The View in March. "If it's perceived, though, as just a check-in-the-mail system, I think we're going to have a hard time coming up with something everybody can believe is fair."
And that's a little more current. ;)

Just figured I'd show at least one other candidate isn't buying this insanity.

P.S. And that's "strike one" (at least) against native son Cory Booker, he's on-board with this shit. That's not how you keep your "pragmatic" and "moderate" credentials intact.

I hate to say it Biker but expect ol' Joe to fold on numerous things. The Hard Core Left is already salivating at his past actions and words. He's gonna have to satiate them somehow.
Honestly, even I would probably give old school joe a chance. I don't know if new school joe can keep the progressive wing nuts at bay though.

He just has to win the primary, and he can probably do that without taking the bernie voters. The people who voted Hillary over Bernie still will, the progressives are a' comin but they aren't there yet. In the general it's enough to be running against trump. However disappointed the bernie fans will be, they still have plenty of motivation to get behind the only alternative, whoever it is.

I like what he said about working with the old skool racist senators, I hope he has the balls to stick with it. This modern thing of shutting down the debate rather than debating is getting old.
