Article in my local paper today reported that the HUGE solar farm near the CA/NV border is being 2/3 shut down due to being 11 years old and obsolete.

"Canada has implemented several tariffs on goods from the United States, with some specific rates on various products. Here's an overview based on recent data:
Dairy products: Tariffs can be as high as 245%-298%.
Poultry: Tariffs are around 238%.
Fish: A tariff of 100% applies.
Tobacco: Also subject to a 100% tariff.
Consumer Goods: A general tariff rate of 30% is imposed.
Lumber: Tariffs range from 17-20%.
Steel: Tariffs are between 25-50%.
Aluminum: Approximately 10% tariff is applied."

You could plug the question into another AI if you'd like. Maybe you'll get something different. You asked for the source. I provided it. If it's wrong I have no problem accepting a different answer.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 2:53 amGee, I could have sworn it was some guy on "X". Ah, so you got nothing. Again. Are those numbers wrong and you disagree? Do you have something that shows otherwise? Come on, Rick. Let's see it.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 2:57 amCHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 2:55 amYou could plug the question into another AI if you'd like. Maybe you'll get something different. You're pathetic.
Again, just like I said to Rick. If you can find other information, please go ahead and post it. If you two want to dispute the conclusions of the AI then go ahead and post an alternative source(s) that prove it wrong. It's really pretty simple. It's not my fault, or the AI's, that these Canadian tariffs are already in place and have been for some time.
trees remove carbon from the atmosphere and are a key ingredient to maintaining a balance. To cut down trees in order to build a solar farm is the definition of stupid.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 5:39 pmI know dude. Ive looked into solar for my house. Trudeau, *on the phone to the guy he hired two months ago to run his border plan*... "Hey, Fred. I'm adding a couple of new words to your job title. You're now also a "Fentanyl Czar". We'll have it added to your business cards. Your job description doesn't change in any way. Just keep doing the job I hired you for."Biker wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 11:26 pmHe literally said that he's announcing NEW commitments, you moron. And you lot are doing the opposite. And its hilarious.QillerDaemon wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 2:06 pm Dude, you're not ever going to convince them. In their (little pea-brain) heads, 47 aka FOTUS said he won, so he won. Not that he got anything we didn't already have an agreement for, but that doesn't matter. He gets to think he flexed his flabby muscles, so win for the US, I guess.
I like the idea you're taking American liquor off the shelf, bold move! Drink Canadian, and have one for me!![]()
