Oh FFS I just dealt with this. Replaced cyan. Got ready to print only for the fucker to tell me I'm low on magenta. It's a black and white document mannnnnn.

Nerd Alert!

Most printers give low ink errors based on the time the printer has been working. Not the actual level of the ink. Go Googling and usually there is a bypass to this feature and you can keep printing. You will know you are out of ink when the colour stops printing.
