Kamala Harris be on the short list, too. Now she be fuckin d police, after bein one.
Think that's going to be a big problem for any candidate who's been a DA or worked in a prosecutor's office. I know there's talk of support to put Kamala Harris as Biden's VP. But she also has some very serious issues with her DA record. It's why I like Val Demings as a possible choice. She checks all the right boxes: female, black, in the House, former cop. She actually has a pretty good record as Orlando chief of police. Yea, there are some bruises on it, but for the most part OPD got well run while she lead it. And her husband is mayor of Orange County, a huge blue spot in a mostly red Florida and a former sheriff for the county. And I'm not biased being a Central Florida resident.Charliesheen wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 10:46 am Kamala Harris be on the short list, too. Now she be fuckin d police, after bein one.

Pretty much anyone tapped to be VP is going to have some unfortunate marks to explain. Demings has the least, imho.
I'm not disagreeing with that. I wish race were in no way any kind of issue this year. But it is. Warren is another older white person. I like her, a lot, but the fact is a black person really needs to be in the sidecar this election for the Democrats. A black female, even better. And Demings has a pretty good (not spotless) record as a leader, particular someone from a traditionally southern state.Stapes wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 3:00 pmQillerDaemon wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 2:36 pmThink that's going to be a big problem for any candidate who's been a DA or worked in a prosecutor's office. If he doesn't pick Elizabeth Warren I'm giving up on the Democratic party. There is a very good chance Biden might not make 4 years. Val Demings or Kamala Harris has earned the at bat position? I don't think so. I really don't care what the right or trump or republicans in general think of her. Fuck them and fuck Biker the fake democrat.
And risk winning the Presidency?Antknot wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 5:31 pm I still wonder if the Democrats will pick someone other than Biden to run.
I’m sure that most would like to. I just can’t see a way or a candidate for them to pick someone else without tearing the party apart. Biden would have to step down for health reasons.

no one has said it has anything to do with his age. maybe he has early on-set dimentia and it just took a lot longer for him to get it.FSchmertz wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 12:41 am I love how Rethugs are playing up Biden's age, and think we're ignoring their fossil who's trying to get elected, "Mr. Healthy No Exercise McDonald's health food-eating orange fatass." And if they're not careful, we'll stop ignoring Pence too.
And yes, Biden really needs to pick a VP who's plausibly ready to be a President.

The launch of President Trump's campaign was an EPIC success, but liberals are already trying to take us down.
The RADICIAL leftist socialists won't stop until they turn America in to a SOCIALIST COUNTRY. We can't let that happen.
Contribute ANY AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY to stand by President Trump and DEFEND CAPITALISM.
