I learned about DOOM from his feature on Gorillaz November Has Come, but his whole story and discography is amazing. Wish I knew about him before he died.

Adult Swim introduced me to him back in the early 00s. He got r into the black side of Indie rap. RIP

Have you heard about the new Broadway show called Stereophonic? It's up for 13 Tony's this year, based on a Fleetwood Mac style recording session. It's created by Will Butler from Arcade Fire. Seeing that show would be a reason to go into NYC I've heard pieces from that show and the music's really great.

This isn't what I'm listening to but what I watched last night. Rented the Dio movie and was blown away. Pretty much the timeline of my life since about 1978. My buddy got the rainbow rising album or something about then and told me I have to hear it. And it was the shit, the best part was Dio. Elvis had just died and as far as vocalists go, Dio was now my man. Just an awesome story. I knew alot about Dio already but that movie taught me stuff I didn't know.
