Just talked to an 86 year old who has determined this virus thing is about over. His determination of that is the market is up today.

From your link.

Sounds pretty vague for him to be making any noise about. Get back to us when he's ready to make actual predictions.
the US is a little trickier to track the numbers than some of these countries. You can pretty much lump Italy all into one pot and it acts as one graph line. The US is very different. NY City is almost behaving like its own country. You have a hotspot in NY City and one in Los Angeles and they are in no way related in terms of how the virus is spreading. So you can't really predict "one" thing for the US.

right now, I would focus on predicting an end of the virus spread for NY City. Its hard for amateur data collection services such as The Flumper Project since the numbers are hard to find accumulated on a per state basis.

I think in the end this whole thing will prove that Americans and our Government really suck at national emergencies. Just imagine if the power grid went down. We'd have been looting and shooting in the first 8 hours.

He was spot on with China.

You're 100% correct about Staten Island loving Trump. My theory is they are all brain damaged from living on an island made of toxic trash and they see Trump as one of them.

It’s a suburban bedroom community of blue-collar and middle-class workers—mostly police officers, firefighters, teachers, and small business owners—who commute to Manhattan and New Jersey, but rest and raise their families on the island.
