so, rough guessing by scaling from your picture, i would say that tower is over 100 feet tall.

I just assumed you would need a tall tower to pull casing up and take it apart then reinstall it so may resemble a drill rig in that respect. Big tower is a big tower.
that may very well be right. but if they are removing casing, that would seem as though they are abandoning the well. Maybe there is a way to remove and replace casing and keep the well in tact. That has to be the answer, but i'm curious of what the process is.
CTC said in his earlier post they take the casing out, do their thing then put the casing back in...

Now both videos disappeared. Learning curve I guess. Had a deer walk right up to me I filmed right now. Rejected- "videos over 60 seconds not allowed". Anyone else know some other photo/ video hosting sites?

Thought I would try one more thing tonight before I call it a night. For the last several weeks, just tons of fireflies right after dark. Their numbers are way down now. Still a few around. Good test for this camera in near dark conditions. Maybe in an hour or so.

I wished he understood a bit more about the process of how they do it.

Yeah, sorry. Like I said- I've never worked on a rig. I'm heading back out there next week. I'll take some photos close up and different angles on one of those workover rigs.

Not going to happen. Saw probably 20 little bucks just like that in the last 24, putting on horns. There are so many deer around this town, it's almost like having huge rats running around.

its probably because people are feeding them. That and the flowers and shrubs people plant. They love that shit. I hear around Austin they pay guys to come in and trap them with huge nets just to haul them off to remote parts of texas. When the animal lovers finally take over and start making all of the rules, we are going to be over run by shit like that.

Some may, but I don't think hardly anyone feeds them. Probably flowers and shrubs. It's a perfect deer urban environment. Not a big city. Couple or 3 spring fed streams run right through town. Safe from predators that avoid any humans, especially towns. Commuting out to my job the last 3 months, I avoid leaving anywhere near sunup. Just asking for vehicle damage. And that's just in this neighborhood.

Her tree seems more steady than mine. Good fishing under those limbs, though.
