Wrong. Ive been involved in 3 IBEW/CWA Strikes, the last one 2 years ago. You really don't know what your talking about. And before you start down the money lie,.... They were never about money but keeping what had been bargained for that they constantly try to take away and keeping the work from being sent overseas like call centers in the phillipines that we shut down. Management is the enemy of labor and the worker needs a tool to keep from being taken advantage of. That is organized labor. Just ask those south americans in the processing plants that just got raided how management treated them cause they had them by the short hairs

Sorry there tough guy. I was a machinist for 10 years and then I supervised UAW and Teamsters. You are mistaken. The days of union folks being loyal Dims are long gone. At least here in Michigan. Union leadership of course will always be Democrat but the everyday folks are much more independent then you give them credit for and many absolutely HATE that their dues go to support Dim causes. I started telling stymie this over a decade ago that the Dims were losing the blue collar union guys. He couldnt/wouldnt believe it. Then Donny (shocker!) won the rust belt with blue collar support. Face it my man: the major issues that the Dim party today seems to be focused on just dont resonate, or are in direct opposition to, your typical blue collar dude.

The reason that the Dems lost the unions is because the union members started voting against their own self interests. Those brilliant blue collar guys decided that they liked their guns, their racism and their homophobia far more than decent paying jobs with good benefits.

Clinton won with union household voters in 2016, as usual. Chump just closed the margin down more than usual, it was still 8 points. Chump was really a one trick pony with issues all over, people scared of non white people voted for him over the issues of immigration and terrorism. Brown people are scawy and daddy twump will save you.
