Yes, you added the caveat 'only if they charge higher fees' and declared only that would make it a violation of the domestic emoluments clause. You made that up and it is false.

There is evidence he is using the powers of his office to direct federal employees to spend money at his properties. Even Pence's chief of staff admitted it was trump's suggestion.
There is always a tweet. He is propping up the failing airport that services his failing resort by steering as much government pork that way as possible, and he is extending a new contract that will keep the grift flowing through 2024.

Prestwick’s refueling contract with the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is about to expire. Total payments to the airport since 2017 could total as much $21 million by the time the contract ends.

But the airport has a new, longer contract beginning October 1 and running through the end of September 2024. The value is yet to be determined, but the new deal would involve supplying some 12.4 million gallons of aviation fuel — about 3 million more than the current deal.

The Air Force Paid Nearly Twice As Much As Average Hotel Rate To Stay At Trump’s Scotland Club
Trump claims that he gave the Air Force a discounted rate to stay at his failing golf club in Scotland, but data shows that the rate was nearly twice as much as the average hotel room cost.

The Air Force traveled an additional 23 miles out of their way to stay at club that charged them more than the average hotel room cost in the city that they were closer to.

The Trump “discounted rate” scam might sound familiar because it is why Ivanka Trump is under investigation for potential violations of tax law. During the Trump inauguration, Ivanka Trump offered “discounted rates” that were substantially higher than the average event space rates in the city.

Icky?

iPSC's are not related?

So, you summarize my post by completely lying about it... Trump would be very proud of you.

Again: Just because you claim you might one day "save thousands of lives" doesn't give you the right to just do what you want without weighing the ethics of the action. These stem cells do have the capacity to imbue these animals with higher levels of consciousness, to become more sapient. This should be addressed looooong before moving forward with the actual genetic tom foolery.

That is not at all false, but it was also more at play with the foreign Emolument clause. If a foreign dignitary (or American, technically) stays at Trumps hotel and is not paying extra, then the POTUS is not in violation to that clause.

The domestic Emolument clause is also not being broken... granted, its by technicality. The US is not giving money directly to Trump. These people are spending their own money out of pocket at the point of sale.

Is it bullshit? Yes
Is it unethical? Absolutely
Is it un-Constitutional? Sadly, no.

Price gouging Americans is, unfortunately, not illegal in most cases.
(I think these days the only time you can't raise prices for shits and giggles is if there is a national disaster at play...).

The real crime being perpetrated here is what you posted at the very end. Government agencies are starting to conduct real-time revisionism.

While I fully expect Trump to stay in office three+ terms, the precedents he is setting will last long after he finally leaves office.

THAT is the real issue here. But you blues get hung-up on red herrings so much you can never focus your energy properly to do anything worth while.

So true.

NOAA staff warned in Sept. 1 directive against contradicting Trump
In an agencywide directive sent Sept. 1 to National Weather Service personnel, hours after Trump asserted, with no evidence, that Alabama “would most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated,” staff was told to “only stick with official National Hurricane Center forecasts if questions arise from some national level social media posts which hit the news this afternoon.”

They were also told not to “provide any opinion,” according to a copy of the email obtained by The Washington Post.

A NOAA meteorologist who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of retribution said the note, understood internally to be referring to Trump, came after the National Weather Service office in Birmingham contradicted Trump by tweeting Alabama would “NOT see any impacts from the hurricane.”

The Birmingham office sent the tweet after receiving a flurry of phone calls from concerned residents following Trump’s message.

To be fair, we kind of can't trust them already.

If you look into just how often they skirt their own rules, bend over for big business, willfully push narratives... its a fucking disgrace.

This is just the natural progression of that insanity. Something I oppose wholeheartedly, but something I also see all to clearly. BOTH parties are guilty here, Trump is just the guy to push the next logical step. The only way this will end if for the People to stop playing identity politics, show some tolerance to our fellow Americans, and stop playing a game that is rigged so heavily against us.

Before I go any further, let's stop here and take this totally out of the political context. Let's say your boss suggests that you be at a meeting in Ireland next week. She doesn't tell you that you have to be at the meeting but just suggests it. Even if you have a bunch of other stuff going on next week, you go, right? Because you know that a suggestion from your boss isn't exactly a suggestion. It's more of a very strong recommendation.
