Totally Brilliant and I was glad to hear some hefty applause at this/ " So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech, right? You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your God, and [bleep] Fuck Off.”Cassandros wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 7:50 pm ^^ $$

I agree. It's about time someone put these ignorant celebrities in their place. Most of them don't even have a high school education yet they want to tell us something about politics or the environment? Like he said, they should just STFU. They are the biggest abusers of destroying the environment with all of their yachts, mansions and jets than anyone.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 10:04 pmTotally Brilliant and I was glad to hear some hefty applause at this/ " So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech, right? Yep/ I'm guessing the majority of the applause were from people in the industry that actually have to sell this rapidly diminishing product to the public. Look, everyone in the industry has the same free speech rights as everyone else. But if your whole existence is to sell a movie, TV show, streaming show, etc., how must the agents for Robert De Niro do a total cringe factor every time he steps on stage and loudly proclaims "Fuck Trump". Totally in his rights to express his views. Also in the rights of half the country's (150 million) consumers to express their view and say "Fuck De Niro" and boycott everything he puts out until death. How stupid is that from a business perspective.FreakShowFanatic wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 10:09 pmI agree. It's about time someone put these ignorant celebrities in their place.
