Republicans are funny things.
REPUBLICANS: "My right to own any gun I want shall not be infringed upon! Any gun laws are a violation of my rights! FREEDOM!"
ALSO REPUBLICANS: "We're going to tell women what they can and can't do with their own bodies!"
Where's the "freedom" for those women?
Objection! Fallacious argument. There is a constitutional right, clearly spelled out in the Bill or Rights, and a core part of what America is, to keep and bear arms.

Do conservatives in these states think that eliminating legal abortion will lead to less pregnancies?

We are entering an era of unprecedented female representation and it will only get stronger.
WHAT? Sorry, man. That ERA was entered and it's already over. We are now in some fucked up era of LGBT and non-binary genderqueers, and the even the females are pissed about it.
Yeah, trannies are eating feminists' lunch, and there's nothing anyone is able or willing to do about it, because of intersectional victim status points.

They're saying abortion is murder. That's all. That's why no exceptions for rape or incest, etc. Because you don't get a pass to commit murder.

Good argument. The fact that babies grow in women doesn't discount the idea that killing a baby is murder.

Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973),[1] was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution provides a fundamental "right to privacy" that protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose whether or not to have an abortion, while also ruling that this right is not absolute and must be balanced against the government's interests in protecting women's health and protecting prenatal life.

Why is there no wailing and gnashing of teeth over the already fertilized embryos in all the fertility clinics that are frozen and then later thrown away or donated to science? Life begins at conception, correct?

You'd have to ask them. I don't know if they do approve of it, or some yes some no.

A popular opinion is that the finding is bad law, cut out of whole cloth; they wanted to find in favor of abortion, but they had to find a place for it. That's the diff: it's not spelled out in the constitution.

Yep. Hard to beat the success of the war on poverty. Welfare replaced fathers and a dependent class was cemented. Yeah, republicans need to rally behind a results-based program like that.

I actually think it will lower the number of abortions performed, but I don't agree with the law. Having more unplanned/unwanted children isn't good for anyone, especially those children.
