I'm not sure what you're asking. Have you never seen it or heard of it?

Comedy: blazing saddles
Action: tombstone
Drama: Goodfellas
random: deadpool
horror: the problem here is I love horror movies, but I'm not scared of them. I really want a movie to scare me and I just haven't had one do that. I used to get scared, but I convinced myself it was all fake and now meh. Any good suggestions?

I'm a fan of old-fashioned horror films. "The Legend of Hell House" still gets me even now. For some reason "The Pit and the Pendulum" with Vincent Price does too. Don't like the "buckets of blood" movies, they just mostly gross me out.

Toni Collette was in a movie called hereditary that came out a few years ago. It was the creepiest movie I've seen in quite a long time. The last half hour, 45 minutes was pretty freaky.

Haven't watched hell house but I have seen pit and pendulum. When I was a kid Halloween scared me but because the music. Then I watched chainsaw when I was 13 maybe, after that is when I convinced myself. So now everything just looks... fake. And then being in the military took away most of my reactions to jump scares. But I do like the older ones. Will have to check out legend.

Watched that. Great movie. No scares. But I really did like it. It was recommended to try and scare me.

The movie came out in 1987. Doesn't mean I saw it then.

But I did. I'm 66. I saw the original beach movies on TV so I had a frame of reference for the comedy. And Barbara Billingsley announcing "The big crapola" is still funny.

Then you're mistaken.it most definitely is a comedy. It's funny as hell. Two hours of a retard wandering around mumbling about "French-fried potaters" and "biscuits with mustard" and "I dont reckon I got no reason to kill nobody" in fluent tardspeak. A southern hillbilly alcoholic redneck slapping children around before being killed with a lawnmower blade by the retard. The tard just sits on the end of a bed all night at his warden's house because he's too stupid to lay down and go to sleep. How the hell would this not be a comedy?

come to think of it "The Birds" was pretty fucking scary if you were a kid watching it.

And, as far as scary music that I remember in movies, "The Ghost and Mr Chicken" and "Jaws" come to mind.

I saw Casino recently. Damn, that movie has some brutal scenes. That scene where they take Joe Pesci and his brother out in the corn field and kill them is hard to watch. Great movie, though. One of my favorites.

Goodfellas is also in my top list of movies. Ray Liotta was great in that.

The cornfield scene is brutal. Goodfellas is excellent. The Pittsburgh connection that they talk about in it involved a few guys that lived near me, I knew of them but didn’t know them but made the connection of them to the book and then the movie after reading the book “Wiseguys” and then seeing the movie.

Little story about them; when I was in my teens my friends and I hung out at the edge of a parking lot surrounded by woods. That’s where we did our drinking and drugs and hung out, and others would come around and party with us. A few friends were known to sell Quaaludes and one night two older guys came up with shotguns looking to rob us of our drugs. The guys with the drugs hid them and two of our group got punched a few times and the guys with the guns left without getting anything.

We heard a few months later that the guys who tried to rob us were identified and got their asses beat. We didn’t know who did it but it was suspected that the Pittsburgh connection guys took care of them, looking out for us neighborhood kids.
