Somewhere in that debate I hope DeSantis mentions these things:
People are desperately trying to escape places youre trying to turn California into
People are fleeing California at a record pace and people are moving to Florida at a record rate
Florida is rated a top state for business and California is not
Florida has no income tax and California has high income tax
Florida handled Covid rationally while California still has places that require masks and teachers that still insist on remote learning

The Left hates inconvenient facts.
Its factual and true that some slaves had skills that could be used as free men. This is not controversial or offensive. Its simply a statement of fact that was written by the black committee that oversaw that portion of the text.
But the narrative is the most important thing, right?

Yes, his campaign has had no shortage of struggles. Hes still the best alternative to Trump IMHO. He did OK last night- not as well as I had hoped he would but I dont think he hurt himself either.
