"On New Year's Day 1953, he suffered from heart failure and died suddenly at the age of 29 in Oak Hill, West Virginia."
yep. all of those songs he wrote and he was dead at 29. talk about an "old soul". no one has packed as much emotion or sadness into a song as he did. and to think he did it in his 20's.

It was a really interesting read. I had no idea about him other than who he was. The times were sad and him having spina bifida had to suck. I love the 30s.
he's one of those guys that sat with, listened to, and learned to play with the black sidewalk singers. his main inspiration when he was just a kid was a black shoe shine guy on the sidewalk. I can't remember the guy's name but he talked about him all the time.
You know I really do try to keep an open mind when it comes to music but god damn that is just pure shit. Nothing personal if you like it.......
Was it the curse words?
I really don't get the appeal to mumble rap. It's all the same simple beat mixed to lyrics containing references to sex, how hard the artist is, and what they own. It's a genre devoid of talent but while people seem to like it just because it's what young blacks listen to now

This song is about as mumble-y as I can take. At least these guys put some thought and play on words in their rhymes, even if the delivery is slow and garbled.
Niggarace, new Versace
Sippin' sake with my posse (yeah, ah)
Eat that pussy like hibachi
Leave it wet, that dick Dasani (ah, alright)
Salvador Dalí, her body (yeah)
It's a work of art, you copy? (yeah, Ferg)
Nigga, all she do pilates
I go hard, you rappers copy (ooh, damn
Migos and the SoundCloud fucks are shit though.

yeah that's pretty sophisticated. I guess you don't have to use words with their real meanings. "Eat that pussy like hibachi". I guess when your audience has no idea what a hibachi is, this sounds smart.
