My brain is telling me this is a golden buying opportunity. My gut is telling me its gonna get worse.

I think it will probably get worse before it gets better. The trend we are in right now is it goes down 500 points and then rebounds 200 points. Then the news breaks out that there is a 40 mile convoy. Down 500. then back up 200. Then news of something else bad. Down 500. etc.
Put in a bunch of april 55 orders. I moved my March calls forward.
It always comes back down. I think they learned from the last shale boom. I'd like to see it settle in the $80 rangeAnimal wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 12:49 am Well my pick is doing gangbusters, but its going to go down in flames when these petroleum prices crash. which will come soon enough. oil producers are always too greedy and flood the market when prices get like this, plus people stop buying as much fuel and those two combined will crash it back into the $50/ barrel range. Russia would really be fucked then.
yep. except, if i was forced to pick a number i would rather see it settle in around $65.Hydroseismic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 3:09 amIt always comes back down. $65-85 is the sweet spot for both consumers and oil companies. Anything much below or above causes problems for each.Animal wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 3:08 pmyep. except, if i was forced to pick a number i would rather see it settle in around $65.Hydroseismic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 3:09 amIt always comes back down. Watching the shale play out in the Permian Basin, they are not looking at boosting production much with this huge price increase. Too many lessons learned from the past. They are already producing at record levels- 5 MBD.Hydroseismic wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 3:09 amIt always comes back down. I think they learned from the last shale boom. i think A&M gets 1/3. tu gets 2/3.
Without a lick of research. I'd say a combo of supply chain issues, batterys from overseas, economy tanking. Oil increases leading to increased cost for plastics so all BidenCharliesheen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 6:37 pm Can somebody please tell me why this stock is tanking? maybe its because its headquartered in Hong Kong and maybe they are in a covid lockdown right now. The financials all look strong but there were a ton of short sellers in February and most analysts have it listed as a "Sell" right now. Those analysts typically know something the rest of us don't.Charliesheen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 6:37 pm Can somebody please tell me why this stock is tanking? The chinese stock market had an incredible up day. It should have lifted this stock of yours. I did not realize how much the Chinese stock market had been hammered lately. Apparently, Xi has decided to step in and make some guarantees for the market and it soared.
Does that include the recent NI dividend?Animal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 4:46 pm Just a random update at 11:45 am central time. Its hard to believe that as a group these stocks are up 6.39% in less than 2 months.

No. I am just going to add the dividends for the stocks that pay dividends at the end. I can't keep up with each one and when they pay and who pays quarterly, semi annual, etc. I don't anticipate that a dividend will make a lot of difference in the outcome, but none of the above numbers have taken dividends into account. Shit, the crazy thing is that NTR stock that rule34 has at the top also pays a dividend.Antknot wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 4:53 pmDoes that include the recent NI dividend?Animal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 4:46 pm Just a random update at 11:45 am central time.
