I think it will probably get worse before it gets better. The trend we are in right now is it goes down 500 points and then rebounds 200 points. Then the news breaks out that there is a 40 mile convoy. Down 500. then back up 200. Then news of something else bad. Down 500. etc.

There are just too many possible sources of bad news right now.

My pick, DataDog, is almost down to it's 12 month low. Most of my investing is in my retirement account, but I think I need to buy some more of this in my taxable account. This company is doing too well to let FUD circumstances hold it down for a real long time.

Well my pick is doing gangbusters, but its going to go down in flames when these petroleum prices crash. which will come soon enough. oil producers are always too greedy and flood the market when prices get like this, plus people stop buying as much fuel and those two combined will crash it back into the $50/ barrel range. Russia would really be fucked then.

It always comes back down. I think they learned from the last shale boom. I'd like to see it settle in the $80 range

yep. except, if i was forced to pick a number i would rather see it settle in around $65.

$65-85 is the sweet spot for both consumers and oil companies. Anything much below or above causes problems for each.

Watching the shale play out in the Permian Basin, they are not looking at boosting production much with this huge price increase. Too many lessons learned from the past. They are already producing at record levels- 5 MBD.

maybe its because its headquartered in Hong Kong and maybe they are in a covid lockdown right now. The financials all look strong but there were a ton of short sellers in February and most analysts have it listed as a "Sell" right now. Those analysts typically know something the rest of us don't.

All of these "sell" recommendations are coming from chart readers. Moving averages going below prices, etc.

I bet money that this factory has been under some kind of lockdown problems from the covid outbreak in Hong Kong. That outbreak is on the way down now.

The chinese stock market had an incredible up day. It should have lifted this stock of yours. I did not realize how much the Chinese stock market had been hammered lately. Apparently, Xi has decided to step in and make some guarantees for the market and it soared.

That doesn't sound to me like China is planning on bailing Russia out of anything.

Does that include the recent NI dividend?

No. I am just going to add the dividends for the stocks that pay dividends at the end. I can't keep up with each one and when they pay and who pays quarterly, semi annual, etc. I don't anticipate that a dividend will make a lot of difference in the outcome, but none of the above numbers have taken dividends into account. Shit, the crazy thing is that NTR stock that rule34 has at the top also pays a dividend.
