Planting some of your own food so you dont have to venture to the grocery store as often would seem like a good idea, no?
Yeah, it's gonna grow that fast
Of course not. But the first shut down was a couple weeks. Then it was extended until the end of the month. Now theres talk she will include the entire month of May. Who knows after that? The point is that even if the plantings dont produce until August or september you are still in theory minimizing your trips to the grocery store. It doesnt seem odd to you allowing Liquor stores and lottery locations to remain open but closing garden centers and gardening sections?

Cabela's is open here in Fort Worth. I thought all gun stores were closed. I haven't been in there since the shut down, so I don't know if they have the gun counter closed, but I wonder what it is they sell that is considered "essential"?
Gun stores are open in CA and PA, I know that
i just checked and i guess gun stores in texas can stay open. i didn't know that.

2nd Amendment uber alles!

P.S. But they do arguably sell clothes/garments + shoes/boots

a little disingenuous no?......she didn't ban veggie seeds. They are just sold in stores that are considered non-essential. grow up
Plus, easy enough to go to a site like burpee.com and order seeds.

Look above, your quoted post literally says: "Trump will kill probably close to 2 million..."

You seem awfully confident and giddy about the high death rate. I am only happy the estimates continue to be revised downward. Yes, I will bet that 150k number.
Yeah. You dont get the reference.
I say there will be 150K dead by Sept. You taking the over?
What shall we bet?
Silly me for actually quoting and going by what you actually typed.
1 month Avatar bet. 150k American deaths due to this Corona virus by September. You got over and I got under. Deal?
To avoid arguments, whose number will be the next official number?
BET!!
I use these guys https://www.worldometers.info/coronavir ... #countries

Good? Let the dying begin!
You realize your position is that more people will have to die in the USA in the next 4.5 months than have died in the entire world so far, right?
Some people are saying 200K by that point. I shaved 50K off to give me a chance.
And dont let your President hear you saying something to hard to do. Americans can do ANYTHING when they put their minds to it.
I'm getting a 10K spike in a week from people going against the plan and having Easter together.

REVEALED: U.S. government gave $3.7million grant to Wuhan lab at center of coronavirus leak scrutiny that was performing experiments on bats from the caves where the disease is believed to have originated

The Chinese laboratory at the center of scrutiny over a potential coronavirus leak has been using U.S. government money to carry out research on bats from the caves which scientists believe are the original source of the deadly outbreak.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology undertook coronavirus experiments on mammals captured more than 1,000 miles away in Yunnan which were funded by a $3.7 million grant from the US government.

Sequencing of the COVID-19 genome has traced it back to bats found in Yunnan caves but it was first thought to have transferred to humans at an animal market in Wuhan.

The revelation that the Wuhan Institute was experimenting on bats from the area already known to be the source of COVID-19 - and doing so with American money - has sparked further fears that the lab, and not the market, is the original outbreak source.

If it's the lab I'm thinking of, it was recently defunded by the U.S. (and criticized for doing so), and its goal was to find viruses that were likely candidates to be the next SARS before they happened. So it existed to try to warn us about what could happen in places like Wuhan.

Too many tin-foil hatted conspiracy nuts, even in the UK.
