I’m spending all my free time cleaning this house up for sale. I s’pose there's a sense of pride and accomplishment when you build up an inventory of spent $10 vodka handles and chocolate milk bottles.
Entire contents of the house abandoned. I’m offering deep discounts on piss-stained mattresses, bedding, furniture, and carpeting.

Have you considered purchasing property for short term rentals/VRBO? I did the long term let thing for a while and the stress that came with tenants moving in and out wasnt worth it. Ya cheap vodka is it for me. If it’s triple distilled the hangover is tolerable.

I have to store his belongings for 15 days after paying $1500 for the eviction. Since he hasn’t paid rent for 7 months another 15 days isn’t Dick.
I can’t just dispose of his shit. If it’s worth more than $700 I have to have a public auction, deduct my expenses but not the back rent and give the proceeds to the state.
He broke in after the eviction and took what he wanted, including bank statements. But he left his tax info. The guy clears way too much money in pensions to claim covid poverty.
If you wonder why I hate California governance, there’s your answer.
