I guess he's pointing out that both parties have socialist tendencies, they just have different people and/or organizations that they want to shovel out our money to.

Well, at the very least, he is now. lol
Corporate welfare is bullshit. As are bailout packages for anything deemed 'too big to fail', when the reason for the failure was not understanding basic business models.
One brand of socialism is not magically better than another.
