Q2 is going to be a blood bath on delinquencies. Depending on if the lenders offer loan forbearance and how they report it. If the loan goes into forbearance, it's not technically late. BTW who the fuck finances a car for 84-96 months. I know those loans are out there, but I didn't think anyone would actually get one.

You know people get them. Check out the newest car you see being driven by a twenty year old. Ill bet it's more than 48 months.

If you buy a $87,000 truck 84-96 is your friend. But nobody should be taking that length of a loan on a Camry or a Durango.

Hmmm. Let’s see. The first 2 years worth of payments are necessary to cover the depreciation for driving it off the lot.

Pickup trucks don't depreciate like a car does

That may be true but if you're taking 7-8 years to pay off a vehicle you overspent.

Right before the Great Recession a neighbor was bragging about his new Corvette that he bought with money from an extra he tacked on to his house refinancing.Car is long gone but he is still paying for it.

its advice like Quint's that got this country into that recession at the end of Bush's last term. The fact that people still have those kind of misplaced thoughts shows that while we managed to recover, we didn't manage to re-educate the ones that caused it.
