So in this Texas town is there a high number of babies born with cleft palates or half tongues? I've talked to loads of folks from Texas and none of em sounded like that.
I've lived around Texas rodeo girls all my life. They are definitely not anything like this teeter character. More like the 2 other barrel racers on Yellowstone.
Holy crap. Animal mentioned that the actress that played "Teeter" is Michael Landon's daughter. Just read that the actress that played "Mia" (one of the 2 barrel racers and Jimmy's girlfriend) is Josh Brolin's daughter.

i have a feeling he might use her to do his dirty work fighting the developers. turn her activist skills against the big corporate machine. then it will become her against Beth.

I hope I'm wrong but my initial thought about her character is its an opportunity to do some Lefty preaching while still being part of the show.

why were you at the four 6's ranch?
A 3D seismic job. They have oil on the ranch.
Ah. I didn't read that you were in exploration before i asked that.
Is the Sixes fixing to make a run at the King Ranch for marketing and merchandise type stuff?
It would be stupid not to, I have 46 merchandise that I bought back in '17. I'm sure the new exposure will drive sales

i have been buying stuff from King Ranch for years. their stuff is just such good quality. And now they have a store in the stockyards here in Fort Worth so no more gambling on what the picture looks like in the catalogue.
I read where Taylor Sheridan (producer of Yellowstone) is the head of the group that bought the Four 6's. And that old man, Buster Welch, that was in the cart talking in the barn in the last episode is probably the most famous horse trainer in Texas.

That's very cool, Hydro. For years when I was explaining here about how the US oil industry had in such a short time gotten us back to the World's top producer again, I always complained that the 2 techs always mentioned (horizontal drilling and fracking) was overlooking one that was just as important. A trifecta. 3D seismology. I've worked out in the Yates Field of W Texas for 20 years and about 6-7 years ago they did a complete 3D seismic job on almost the whole 26,000 acres and beyond. Fascinating watching them over months lay out the sensor lines, huge multi- million dollar "thumper" trucks crawl all over the hills and mesas banging away underground.

No shit, that's an old field and it's still producing. We got too good at fracking on our way to being top producers lol. It is fascinating to watch a seismic crew at work. We gave a presentation at the 6666 elementary. The kids loved the thumper trucks.
