We have an electoral college because the smaller states and the less populace states would not have ratified the constitution otherwise.

For reasons pertaining the sentiment in the meme. We're on the same page then. Cool
More land doesn't give a vote more weight rural areas only contain 19% of the population

You could have reversed the last presidential election result by moving one single county from California to Texas.

Distorting election results and favouring minority rule would be the same reason. You'd see the problem if it swung the other way.

No, I wouldnt. I dont believe 1-2 states should elect the president.
As I just pointed out, that's not something the EC addresses. The EC is actually the system by which it is possible for 1-2 states to swing it. A popular vote is swung by voters, not states.

63 percent of Latinos reported voting for Lupe Valdez for governor over incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott, who got 35 percent.

I realize that, and one of them was myself but thats not the question. How come she didnt get closer if Texas is close to turning blue?
Blue doesn't mean across the board dem, nobody nationally cares who your largely ceremonial governor is. What matter is who is sent to the capitol

But shouldnt they have taken at least one statewide race if the trend is to go blue? They lost every single one
