i think the "red wave" is fixing to start lifting the market. I noticed today that the House is pretty much a 100% chance it will flip to republican. And then the Senate is gradually beginning to move back toward a toss up. Herschel is gaining on Warnock and Fetterman is having hell with this stroke stuff going around. That race has moved from 70/30 (dem/rep) to 65/35 in the past few days. Either Georgia or Pennsylvania flipping is going to be the only hope there.

i don't think there is any doubt about that. the market will start rallying once wall street decides what they think the election outcome will be. And since the republicans are generally pro business and lower taxes, the market rallies if republicans are going to win. Or if republicans are going to win a branch that can stop the democrats from raising taxes and spending money.

Trump spent trillions without raising revenue also. He juiced up the defense department his first few months in office. I trust NOBODY. If you hear if a Republican campaigning on no more goddamn deficit spending I want to see it.

the headline this week is going to be whatever the Fed does with interest rates. Will it be another 3/4 point or will they back off to 1/2 a point.
and which decision will the market favor? I have a feeling that if they back interest rate hikes to 1/2% AND the polls keep showing the republicans to win the Senate (and the House), then it could be a HUUUUGe week for the Dow.

Nevada is pretty solid Republican with a 1.3% lead in the polls. And Pennsylvania has dropped to a 0.5% lead by the democrats.
Damn, the Republicans could end up with 52 seats in the Senate.
