Thanks for saying that! I can't even explain what that dude did lol. It has like stone glue all over it and didn't evergreen stand secure....? And there was an extra stone, like WTF?
i much prefer the "dry stack" look (no mortar). If she ever has trouble with it getting knocked around or the stones not staying in the right place, you can get tubes of "construction adhesive" at home depot that are made to glue rocks together. Its not a great solution, but much easier than mortar. If she ever tries it, tell her not to use much and maybe on just one or two at first. see what the heat does to it.

The DWG is my all time favorite place. So rich in history, the forests are just magical. Today we also found 6 waterfalls and an abandoned house. It was such a great start to Spring.
