I know it sounds heartless but you can't shut down the worlds largest economy because there is an incredibly remote chance that an incredibly small percentage of already compromised people might die. What is for sure known is most flu patients recover in a couple weeks. up to 30% of covid survivors still suffer weeks and months from fatigue,chest pains , shortness of breath, fevers aches and chills. Yes. It seems Covid-19 deaths are being under reported. Either intentionally or by lack of testing. The jump in pneumonia deaths this year compared to other years is enormous. Something is amiss for sure.
