I know it sounds heartless but you can't shut down the worlds largest economy because there is an incredibly remote chance that an incredibly small percentage of already compromised people might die. I say this knowing full well that I have family members that would be at risk. You don't care because you get your cushy retirement check no matter what. Most Americans have families to support.

This. And yeah, I have a heart issue but am not willing to shut it all down because there's a virus with a 99.7% survival rateCHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 5:01 pmI know it sounds heartless but you can't shut down the worlds largest economy because there is an incredibly remote chance that an incredibly small percentage of already compromised people might die. No, its 99.7% even for those compromised, although much less for someone your age.Stapes wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 5:16 pm
Maybe 99.7 for a healthy adult with no issues. Your ass is down to 50% and let's not forget the health issues and organ damage being experienced by some survivors that they are just starting to see. Heart, Lungs, Kidneys......strokes in young people from blood clots. It's very heroic of you to promote the working class to get out there and start flipping your burgers while you sit in the comfort of your living room
Incorrect info as usual. When I read about the young day trader who died from Covid I'll raise a glass for you. Now go hug a strangerBiker wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 5:23 pmNo, its 99.7% even for those compromised, although much less for someone your age.Stapes wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 5:16 pm

Still, these post-illness effects are experienced by a minuscule fraction of patients. But yeah, shut it all down so we can make your AARP ass feel safe, you fucking pussy
No, balls on accurate. There have been very few with the complications you listed.Stapes wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 5:27 pmIncorrect info as usual. that's one thing i hate about social media. if there is one example of anything in the world (a person getting covid 2 times for example) then after a few hours of that circulating, all of a sudden its "everyone can get covid 2 times or more. there is no seasonal immunity". and people will report that as fact and argue with you to their grave.Biker wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 5:31 pmNo, balls on accurate. 30%, eh? Have you even done the math on that? Youre talking about over 1.5 million people and yet we only hear about a handful who suffer these symptoms months after. How would you make such an assumption? As I stated..."they are just starting to see issues"......there hasn't been enough time to evaluate how serious some of the long term effects are.........as the word "long term effects" suggests. What is for sure known is most flu patients recover in a couple weeks. up to 30% of covid survivors still suffer weeks and months from fatigue, chest pains , shortness of breath, fevers aches and chills. So dont stand there pulling facts out of your ass Doctor Biker .....you dont know shit.....never knew shit.....never will know shit.

An analysis of that data that will be ignored because of the source. Standard NPC pre programmed response.
